I got mine from PG TRU .I believe these arrived last week .

Yeah ,it's pricier compare to MU but it's around twice the size of an average MU figure .Plus more articulation ,better headsculpt and body detailing ,it's worth the price .
DP is selling for around RM200 on ebay.my .That's even pricier .

No variants sighted at PG TRU .I would like to get Widow in her classic grey outfit .
There are 3-4 Black Widow and Hulk sets but only 2 DPs sighted .

I sure hope there won't be any increment for MU figs .Should Hasbro include some extras for the MU line ,then perhaps it justifies the increment ,Look at Mattel's movie line offering of Green Lantern .The figures sport basic 80's style of articulation and yet each one cost RM49.90 .

And yes ,I'm from PG . 

If i remember correctly, TRU Malaysia is managed by Li Fung, a HK based corporate group. But main boss of TRU is based in US.

Any Hasbro or Mattel item self-brought in by Li Fung to TRU Malaysia stores will have independant pricing.

Most of the local Hasbro toys prices are determined by Hasbro Msia themselves. I think Hasbro did market survey and noted that if collectors willing to pay higher price for their toys in 2nd market, they too want to profit from higher retail price.

Rm 44.90 for a 3.75 inch figure is too much. That is the price for 6inch Spiderman figures currently.

Mattel offering GL and other upcoming DCU figures at RM 99.90...no wonder many collectors move on to 12inch collectibles. At recent warehouse sale, DCU were disposed at RM 15 each only.

Price of toys will still be high if there is demand for it regardless whether economy is doing better than US.

Yup, include more accessories and weapons like Hasbro offer for Gi Joe trooper figures.

It's not like toys are like comics... I mean, with comics you have omnibuses, absolute editions and what not and they're really value for money.

I mean, recently I purchased Thor by Walt Simonson Omnibus for RM426.00 less 30 per cent, and it collects all of the legendary creator's Thor stories (40 issues in total). And the colours on each panel, each page has been digitally remastered.

I also own Absolute Watchmen, Absolute New Frontier, Absolute Crisis on Infinite Earths, etc and yes, they're expensive but at least I get to read them, enjoy every detail of the artist's artwork, get myself transported into the story created by the writer(s) and artist(s) and re-read them again and again and get totally new experiences each time, discover new things etc.

So yeah, they're value for money purchases.

But when it comes to toys, spending over RM50, RM100, even RM300 for one plastic? I'd rather read comics and graphic novels.

I've been collecting Star Wars since the 70s but man, RM40 for one figure these days? And with Hasbro playing hide-and-seek with us, skipping waves even, jacking up prices as and when they feel like it as though we have no other avenues to buy them other than in TRU, Parkson, Isetan... well, please don't push it. I might decide to sell off my entire collection and send my kid to university and say bye bye to toys forever.

Stocks in local stores have been really erratic for a while now. Never spotted anything from the latest wave, only figures that I'm not interested in from the wave before. Still no Deadpool anywhere!

Not only that, price also increase! 

Deadpool looks awful....Much prefer the Ori colour....

Yeah ,sucks though .
Just got back from TRU with a small haul .
Will grab the rest from the other outlet on the weekend .
I didn't realise TRU marked up the price to RM42.90 for basic fig and RM59.90 for comic pack .
Bcoz of this ,I won't be getting a 4th DP comic pack .Same goes for Doom ,since he's a repaint from the Secret Wars comic pack which I already owned .

No Apoc in PG TRU .Someone beat me to it .
The revision case of Wave 14 consists of Cable ,Cyke and Apoc .

The regular case which TRU received didn't have Cable .

TRU outlets in PG never brought in revision case assortment for MU since wave 3 .

To clarify again ,there's no Cyke in this wave .
Apoc is packed at 1 per case and he's damn fast sold out .

Hi naith, thank you for the reply. I'd figured as much. But I only see topics for 12"+ and 4" or below. Whatever happened to the ones in between, like 6" - 8"?

I'm guessing that they're categorized into own topics like Figma, revoltech, transformers, etc. but I didn't notice a Marvel one so tried my luck here. Haha.

Well, to be on topic, is there any nice 4" Gambit figure sighted in KL? I'm not really into online buying so it's best if I can get one from a shop.

I only own vintage Lion-O ,with the light up eyes .

Singapore TRU nothing spectacular too. Except they are selling Marvel Legends (new version) individually instead of in set. Nobody seems to be interesed in Avengers..a lot stacking up.
