Hi everybody! I am new here, no sure is it correct ot ask over here.
Anyone know where to get Real Steel figure beside TRU.

Previously there is alot, after the movie, now not easy to find sad.gif
*
You could try TRU at Ikano Power Center. They had alot. Most likely because the movie is good, that's why hard to find now.

I just happened to drop by his shop on my way to checking out Popular Clearance .The other figs were there except Loki .
I didn't collect any movie Thor figs coz couldn't find the complete Warriors Three or King Loki or Sif or Destroyer and now that you mentioned it ,nor Heimdall at TRU or Parkson .Didn't wanna fork out more for them on evilbay .

Added on March 31, 2012, 11:26 pm

No King Loki sighted ?
*
Unfortunately, I really didn't realized him but I don't think he was anywhere in sight

Added on April 1, 2012, 12:58 amahhhh man, the figure has a design flaw. Not sure it is intentional or what but Captain America's Avenger costume doesn't have ears as it is covered but the figures has visible ears! Will post the pic tomorrow

Alright, I have already unboxed Captain America and here's a mini review out of it. Sorry if the pics are too big and blurry coz I took it with my 2megapixel handphone

Captain America

Some minor complains about the figure; He is not exactly movie accurate and here's why

He has ears. Far I have seen the pictures of the costume of the movie, he doesn't have any ears at all coz it is covered. Why did they add them in?

He has a gun holster. Again, why add something extra when it doesn't exist in his costume?

His gun has a trigger. Unfortunately, both Cap's hands doesn't have any fingers to hold it properly!

He has a hole behind is back but unfortunately, his shield doesn't have any pegs at all! Why bother making it? Is it for those who had the other series shield so they can just add it?

Here's the pic of the real life costume

Seriously, how did Hasblow managed to make so many mistakes of the costume of this figure? I mean, he is not a Transformer! How could they not follow the costume properly? But maybe it is just me because I just really would like a more accurate version eventhough this figure is 90% screen accurate already but still, how could they just simply add things which doesn't reflect the real costume? I mean, the Captain America First Avenger version has a gun holster because in the movie costume does as well and it is nearly as good so why can't they do the same with this figure? Sorry about complaining but it slightly bugs me, that's all. But negativity aside, it is still a pretty good figure to get.

the hole at the back is to hold the giant sheild launcher weapon, and not for the arm shield...
*
I know but it is kinda silly for him to have a backpack missile launcher on his back. I would rather have the shield behind like how he always carries it in the comics

Thanks for pointing out the deficiencies of this figure .Definitely skipping him .

not exactly a really bad figure, just that it could be better and more accurate. If they just take off the ears and holster, it would be perfect already but oh well, still a pretty decent figure to have since I decided to skip First Avenger version for this. Let's hope the 8(or 6) inch figures are better(if they have any later)

The 6" is already available at TRUs. I'm getting that Capt regardless of the flaws. Not that picky, and I will get the whole team.  laugh.gif

Fanboy spotted.

lol, maybe I am slightly picky because how could you screw up a costume which is already been released to the toy makers and they decided to add a holster and ears? *facepalm* But anyways, still a decent figure but like I said, could have been better. I love Cap' and which is why I wanted to buy the First Avenger version last year but since Avengers was coming out this year, I figured I would wait for the new version. I mean, they did a good job for the MU line, why can't they do the same for Avengers line as well? anyways, I am complaining way too much. I will prolly buy the sleeveless Thor figure when it is release and Iron Man and I will be done as they are the main heroes in the line and comics.
