Super Hero Squad is pretty much phased out around here these days.

darkshadow,

Where did you buy the 3rd wave for Secret Wars? I have only seen it once in TRU KLCC, at the time they only had one of each on the shelf. I only got myself the Hawkeye one at that time, and to my surprise I can't find the 3rd wave anywhere else for so long.

I have finally gotten the rest of wave 3 Secret Wars. A small part of me wants to start a DC collection too, but I can't justify collecting this line without Batman and Superman. Do you know anywhere that still have them?

Congrats on getting the remaining Wave 3 sets .You can try Parkson or Metrojaya for Bats and Supes ,perhaps they are still there .If you come across the Batman Public Enemies 3-Pack or Superman Public Enemies 3-Pack ,buy them as both Bats and Supes have more articulation than the average figure .I haven't seen these packs in my area .

Collect more JLA and Avengers ,then you can have them battling each other ,just like in the comics .

Thanks. The look pretty cool, I'll look out for it. Meanwhile, I'm already very happy to have finally assembled my classic Avengers (minus Hank Pym and the Wasp unfortunately).

Nice to see the final wave for Secret Wars released over here, but it makes me wonder what happened to the current wave for MU? (The one with Bucky and modern Thor)

Apparently that Wave got delayed .I believe we should be getting it sometime this month .Only need three figs from that wave ;Black Widow ,Thor and Cage .Are you getting any of the final three sets of the Secret Wars Comic Packs ?Doom is awesome ,the cape and skirting material are softer for more poseability .The holster is molded on so I probably gonna replace it with one of Indy's German soldier with bike's holster .
*
I really hope the wave makes it here, I wanna get pretty much everything there. I'd get the Dr Doom / Absorbing Man pack for sure, it even comes with the Wasp! I'd skip the X-Men one since I've already missed out on a lot of them, and am undecided on the Bulldozer / Thing pack. I might as well get Bulldozer just to complete the Wrecking Crew with The Wrecker later, but pairing him with yet another Thing is making it harder to sell to me hmm.gif

The detail on the tiny Wasp is amazing .I'm not a fan of FF and the Thing don't interest me at all .The next wave of MU features majority of X-Men and X-Factor .Been waiting for a X-dedicated MU wave for a while .Am crossing my fingers for a Spidey villains wave .
*
Well we had an X-heavy wave just before, I only got Vision the only Avenger in there (not counting Spidey). Don't put too much hope for a villains wave, or it were a Spidey villains wave, expect to have most of them paired with another Spidey laugh.gif

Thanks .Well ,the fact that Bucky and Black Widow were short packed didn't make things any easier .Plus ,from what I was told ,only 1 to 3 cases made it to each outlet .
*
If that's the case I guess there's no more left for me. Do you have any idea when the next stock will arrive?

For single carded waves ,thus far I have not seen any restock .However ,for the Secret Wars CP ,there's been a restock about 2-3 weeks after the initial arrival .Maybe you can call up other TRU outlets in KL to confirm if there's any available figure for this wave ?
*
I just made a call and reserved what they have, thanks for your advice bro notworthy.gif

No problem Blackhart .So which figures did you reserved ?
*
Sigh, disappointed. When I called TRU 1U they told me they got 2 of each for Thor, Luke Cage, Bucky and Captain America. So I told them to reserve all 4 for me. When I got there they only kept Luke Cage and figures from older waves, they claimed that after the call they found that the figures were no longer on the display. I found Extremis Iron Man though, eventually they managed to dig WW2 Captain America from somewhere. So I went home with Luke Cage, Iron Man and Captain America. Still a little disappointed that I couldn't get the 2 figures I wanted the most, Thor and Bucky. Even the newest wave of Secret Wars was not there.

That sucks .I think next time when you are calling TRU ,ask the receiver to check which figures are available and tell him or her to reserve for you .Sometimes ,they are reluctant to make reservations ,giving a number of reasons .
You can drop by at Parkson as MU figs are also sold there .Good luck in finding both Thor and Bucky .
*
Thanks, I'm still very pleased with the figures I managed to snag nevertheless. The Parksons that I went to never seemed to stock in anything beyond Secret Wars wave 2 hmm.gif

Yeah ,scoring most of the figs that you wanted is better than getting none .  rclxms.gif
It's the same for Parkson outlets in PG .Rather slow in restocking new arrivals .But other than those two places ,I think your other choice is to hunt from ebay ,albeit having to pay a higher price .
*
The staff at TRU told me that the new stocks will probably come in at end of month. If not Isetan would probably bring in the new stock too.

try KLCC, same price, they have a lot of shortpacked stuff from Transformers and figurines. From what I gather most people who frequent there don't really look for toys. Check Parkson, Isetan and TRU. I did see a Bucky , 3 Black Widows and at least 2-3 Thors.
*
That's good news, I can only go there in the weekend though. Thanks a lot for the tip!

TRU at KLCC doesn't have anything besides Luke Cage and Green Goblin, also one Spider-Man. Even Secret Wars final wave was nearly out of stock. Managed to get Bucky and Black Widow at Isetan though, but still no Thor yawn.gif

At least you got both Bucky and BW  rclxms.gif ,so perhaps Thor's still available at other outlets .
So I suppose Doom comic pack is sold out ?TRUs at PG only received one case each and thus far there's no restock .
*
Surprisingly it was the Thing / Bulldozer pack that was sold out. The other 2 were hidden behind all the previous waves, and only 1 each. So I still got to grab the last Doom pack. I still haven't figured out a way to stand the Wasp figure for display though hmm.gif

Hmm ,The Thing was just fugly looking and yet ,the awesome Doom was still available . hmm.gif
Wasp is just super tiny so I think you may have to make a custom stand for her .
*
Lol I was surprised as well, glad that there was still one more Doom pack left for me. Absorbing Man was very nicely made as well, but he has the same problem as Thunderball... holding the ballchain. Seeing that the Bulldozer pack wasn't there at least spared me from having to make another decision.

QUOTE(spacelion @ Apr 25 2010, 02:19 AM)
someone must have cherry picked them all. But i swear i saw 3 Thors . it might have been parkson KLCC instead.
*
Oh well, I guess they're sold out everywhere by now. I hope they will be restocked soon. Happy birthday by the way smile.gif

Mark 1 is a hot seller ,much like Iron Monger and War Machine .Just a few days ago ,there was a restock of the movie and comic series at TRU .
*
Apparently KLCC one did not get it, couldn't find anything from the comic series.

QUOTE(wast8 @ Apr 26 2010, 10:18 AM)
try Parkson, I got my Bucky from there. There were still 2 Thors there.

War Machine will appear on every wave after the 2nd wave according to the unconfirmed pack ratios from hasbro.
so Everyone need not worry about the damn scalpers. cool2.gif
*
May I know which Parkson did you go to? All the Parksons that I went to hardly brings anything new from Marvel.
