Black Widow spotted at TRU but at freaking scalped price!

And Black Panther, Cap America and Iron Man too. But priced at over RM100. Not worth a single sen on these. Even if you do not already have a Black Widow, it doesn't make sense to pay more than RM100 for a single figure and figure stand/base that lights up. Cheap gimmick!

Oh, remember those highly overpriced X-Men First Class CPs? These Black Widow, etc come with that Chinese stickers too. That means they're brought in directly by Li Fung and priced at an exhorbitant amount. Collectors, stay far, far away from these. No point paying APs and supporting unscrupulous businesses. TRU is selling at scalper's prices! LOL!

Wave 1 which is in stores now has Black Widow, Black Panther, Captain America (Steve Rogers), and Iron Man.

And the ones in the photo that you showed are missing the Chinese stickers. ANytime you see them, you know they're overpriced.

Anyone getting Marvel Select Avengers Movie Hulk to assemble your Avengers team? As mentioned in an earlier post, I'd gotten the 3 3/4" Captain America (yeah, don't look at the ears and the gun holster and you'll be merry), Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk but I've also ordered Marvel Select Hulk as it's more in scale compared to the 3 3/4" Hulk. I mean, if I were to fork out over RM100 for a figure, I'd rather get this Hulk than any of those overpriced MU with base gimmick and Chinese stickers and labelled as TRU exclusives.

Parkson Grand, Old Klang Road (the old Yaohan) has:-

1x Wolverine (can't remember the full name - "Astonishing Wolverine"?, something starting with "a", he had snarling teeth. I saw him in Parkson Pavilion a few days ago too)

1 each of the following 2-packs:-
Spider Man/Green Goblin
Iron Man/Punisher
Iron Man/Black Panther

I already picked up what I liked (1 Spidey 2-pack and 1 Iron Man/Black Panther 2-pack - there's still one set of each there) - everything above was still there when I left this lunchtime.

Less popular places like these always have nice stuff to surprise us. There's also 1 Cosmic Loki from the new Avengers line, but that one will probably appear in greater quantities later.

Findingscreemo is either big boss or bounty hunter (like Deadpool), have time to shopping while we drool over your findings.

I also go there previously and can find hidden gems. Limited parking and usually I park outdoors. Crazy traffic sometimes.

I got my Ms Marvel at parkson rawang last year when this wave is long over. Sometimes these ulu ulu outlets still have goodies.

2-packs were RM69.90. They weren't comic packs - they were little boxes with 2 figures in them, posed like fighting each other. There's no special name there, but the titles are "Iron Man vs Black Panther" and "Spider Man vs Green Goblin". No comics attached - more expensive than the comic packs but cheaper than 2 individual figures.

Congrats on your haul, Screemo! I rarely go there too, but I was at Pearl Point today and had some free time during lunch so I went over to take a look. Ulu ulu places are nice to look for sure, especially now that we know to target Parksons. Has anyone checked out Parkson Sungei Wang? It's not really ulu, but then again not a place toy collectors usually visit. Then there's the Mall, Alamanda and some place (according to the store locator) in Setapak for KL. Selangor Parksons are a bit far.. like Klang, Rawang, Kajang.. although the Selayang one doesn't seem that far.

You really need to be looking for something in particular to go hunting, though. The only figure I'm hunting for I'm pretty sure will never be found in the local shops, so I only provide intel when I just happen to be passing by. If I thought that Selayang Mall would have Classic Havok I'd drive down there in an instant!

Oh, nice - shame they don't have a classic Cap in there too!

Yup. Some toyshops have these 2-figure pack. Quite affordable and space friendly.

Parkson at Setapak. Should be part of that new mall near Danau Kota commercial area. I havent been there yet.

Screemo, I found both modern and classic Ms. Marvel at Parkson Rawang...however card condition is antique and dusty.

Im unlucky to spot any variant MU in Msia. But I dun think variant MU ever appeared in those cases sold to TRU or any other retail.
