What about the Red Skull? I read a rumour about it before.

The director strongly dismissed Red Skull. He might return in Capt's 2nd movie though.

Uncle received Wave 2 fews days ago but King Loki was gone when I went there .
Yeah ,TRU staff told me he didn't see much difference in the three main heroes as compared to their individual movie figure series .Don't get me started on Sif .Wanted her so badly but she didn't make it to our shores I believe .
The BW is definitely hawt ,can grab a few if there's 2 per case but knowing Hasbro ,most likely it won't happen .

Rumors were strong about the alien race being the Badoons, but Annihilus and his minions were also mentioned with high possibilities. What I say? Let's wait for the movie!!

Trailer i can see much but I do hope the producers offer a real mean threat to the world for the formation of the Avengers. So far the toy line has not offered any villian army figure for troop building.

It might be "Skrulls" with another name. As far as I understand, Fox own the rights to Skrulls. LOL. Rumors has it that they will be using the other name for the new Skrulls.

Hasbro is apparently pushing the 3 main heroes as their main selling point in the initial waves .
Hope there'll be more villains introduced in the Comic Series toy line .

ya... agree on sif... another figure that is fetching outrageous prices on ebay... this is even suckier becoz there's only a few truly unique figures in the Thor line and Hasbro had to stretch them to 4 waves.. btw, did u ever manage to get Heimdall? i never saw it on retail

Hey guys, reporting after hunting at The Curve. Like FindingScreemo said, TRU Ikano only have wave 1 Avengers, no wave 2. Went to Metrojaya The Curve and was trying to find them but they were near the cashier in a very SMALL SMALL area but they have good Wave 2 Avengers. They have Movie Captain America, Hulk, Ironman Fusion Mark 6(Avengers version) and Thor(long sleeve). Got myself Captain America

I didn't collect any movie Thor figs coz couldn't find the complete Warriors Three or King Loki or Sif or Destroyer and now that you mentioned it ,nor Heimdall at TRU or Parkson .Didn't wanna fork out more for them on evilbay .

Added on April 1, 2012, 12:58 amahhhh man, the figure has a design flaw. Not sure it is intentional or what but Captain America's Avenger costume doesn't have ears as it is covered but the figures has visible ears! Will post the pic tomorrow

Alright, I have already unboxed Captain America and here's a mini review out of it. Sorry if the pics are too big and blurry coz I took it with my 2megapixel handphone

Captain America



Some minor complains about the figure; He is not exactly movie accurate and here's why

He has ears. Far I have seen the pictures of the costume of the movie, he doesn't have any ears at all coz it is covered. Why did they add them in?



He has a gun holster. Again, why add something extra when it doesn't exist in his costume?



His gun has a trigger. Unfortunately, both Cap's hands doesn't have any fingers to hold it properly!



He has a hole behind is back but unfortunately, his shield doesn't have any pegs at all! Why bother making it? Is it for those who had the other series shield so they can just add it?

Seriously, how did Hasblow managed to make so many mistakes of the costume of this figure? I mean, he is not a Transformer! How could they not follow the costume properly? But maybe it is just me because I just really would like a more accurate version eventhough this figure is 90% screen accurate already but still, how could they just simply add things which doesn't reflect the real costume? I mean, the Captain America First Avenger version has a gun holster because in the movie costume does as well and it is nearly as good so why can't they do the same with this figure? Sorry about complaining but it slightly bugs me, that's all. But negativity aside, it is still a pretty good figure to get.

Just visited TRU in Pavilion (consignment TRU in Parkson top floor) and there's quite a lot of Marvel figures there (more than most shops I've seen). Figures of note include:-

about half a dozen Psylockes (there was at least one person here who couldn't find her)
a handful of Modular Iron Man
a couple of Iron Patriot, Iron Spider Man, Ronin, Union Jack, Steve Rogers Captain America, Iceman
one each of Doc Samson, Spider Man (not sure which one it is, but the card just says "Spider Man" figure 01), Iron Man (just "Iron Man" figure 21), Grey Hulk, Winter Soldier

the rest include common figures like helmetless Thor, Storm, Magneto, Marvel's Patriot etc..

No sign of any Avengers line, but my guess is the stuff they have here is even more attractive to you guys!

the hole at the back is to hold the giant sheild launcher weapon, and not for the arm shield...
