From: Wouldn't be around much, pls PM other mods.
Interest rates varies from the value of properties, the loan margin applied and the credit character of a borrower.
So now, it doesn't explicitly varies from old properties vs new properties.

Like for cars, everyone would have a misconception that it is the years of the car that causes interest rate to be high. In actual fact, the age indirectly links to the value of the car and the trustworthiness of the car which effect the high interest rates as it's of higher risk profile.
