a friend of mine is going to buy a laptop for his graphic designing work, initially he planned to buy a macbook pro 15" that comes with i5 520..

so i came here to ask for recommendation..

is this macbook pro worth it or,

is there any laptop that are better for its price? his budget is 5k+-

planning to get Dell 14R, i5-430M + HD5470 + 4GB ram, RM2899, is it a good choice, or are there better options?

also, need another laptop recommendation for my friend, for office work, battery should be long lasting as well as good build quality, 13" to 14", preferably from Dell, was thinking of Vostro 3400. Any recommendations?
