Its something like its international warranty only valid if you are traveller or tourist in that other country, if you lived there, then the warranty is not valid, if I doesn't misinterpret it...

Well, depends on how big the notebook you want.
16'' can consider Asus N61Ja@RM4999
15'' wise, can consider Dell Studio XPS 16.
If 14'' wise, can consider Vaio CW26@RM3999
Blu-ray wise, its depends on you, will you buy it to watch it? If not, stick with DVD to save the cost.

Just get it from shop, no need to wait for PC Fair, its just usually more freebies, but mostly just junk/unnecessary if you ask me...

i was wondering about blu ray disk for data not only movie isit still early to say that ?
any VAIO CW26 is just WXGA display does it have big different compare to DELL XPS 16 which is full HD display?

Not necessary to get any accessories. Just get the one you need.

just now i went to the pc shops there to survey the price and spec, mostly are 10~14 inch one, while only acer 5740g & 5940 are the only 15.6inch laptop. i want LOL at them >.>

So, if i force have choose ar, i think only acer 5740g is my choice... :S

If I play games on a 16:9 laptop, will it become like stretched? or black bars on the side of the screen?

Because 16:9 is wider than 16:10 isn't it?

16:9 is indeed wider than 16:10 but is shorter on the vertical dimension

No it won't be stretched as the game will fit your resolution unless of course it's a very old game which only supports 4:3

Let's say if I set my game resolution to 1680x1050 to fit my 16:9 screen.

what would happen? then resolution aspect ratio is 16:10 while my screen is 16:9.. surely it won't fit..
