BenQ S42@RM2699, P8700 + Nvidia 9600M GT
or the next step is Lenovo Y460, i5 430M + ATi HD5650@RM3299.... GC can be changed, but those mostly on high-end gaming notebook, even that, also need to check compatibility, bios, heatsink, etc.... so most of the time, its not possible. Gaming wise, the 9600M GT can reach temp 9xC....
the most problem on the BenQ S42 is its graphic card driver installation due to its hybrid card... or best, can ask here more --> http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1314111 This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Mar 29 2010, 12:03 PM |

I would still think S42 is better overall, but then if going to Japan, might as well take A42Jr, it comes with 2 years international warranty...

Depend on you, how frequently do you use the DVD drive..
if want cheap, buy the usb bluetooth, but you would lose 1 usb port if you need to use it frequently... This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Mar 29 2010, 02:42 PM |

Yup, dell only offer 64-bit, but there's 32-bit actually...
32-bit apps can install in 64-bit, not a problem unless the apps you want to use is too old, better look for newer version.... |

Don't have other computer with Win 7 to try it out, if want to make sure?
They say it can run with no issue, then it should run, or why don't inquire them back whether 64-bit is supported? |
