Don't get 8600M GT, its a problematic card from Nvidia. You can search around or google for 8400M/8600M card failure

Nothing much that fits the requirement if strictly Nvidia gpu and non-Acer...
Closest is Toshiba M500@RM3499...

Vostro 3700, 17.3'' + i5 430M + Nvidia GT 330M, RM2.8K then you are good to go for some gaming

else you pretty much stuck with Acer 4740G@RM2499 with i5 430M + Nvidia 310M or Toshiba L510-B402, T6570 + ATi HD4570@RM2299, which is just decent..

Well, the toshiba might have better performance than the K40AB since the Toshiba has better CPU and similar GPU.

Heat for K40AB is still manageable, you can ask further on K40AB/K50AB user thread.

As for Toshiba's availability, not sure...

Vostro 3700 kills every notebook in its price range (under RM3K) in term of gaming performance for now IF you don't mind its 17.3''

The Lenovo G450 comes with 4500M HD?
Then CQ41-208AU has better GPU with slight weaker CPU...
