It comes with 2 years warranty by default though.
Sure can get at lowyat, but maybe need to wait a bit, since stock might not come yet... better call up the store to clarify. Last time, its out of stock

Durability not sure but if it has the same build with the older K40 series, then its quite good

Nothing much that fits the requirement if strictly Nvidia gpu and non-Acer...
Closest is Toshiba M500@RM3499... This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Mar 9 2010, 12:30 AM |

Up the budget another RM300?
Vostro 3700, 17.3'' + i5 430M + Nvidia GT 330M, RM2.8K then you are good to go for some gaming else you pretty much stuck with Acer 4740G@RM2499 with i5 430M + Nvidia 310M or Toshiba L510-B402, T6570 + ATi HD4570@RM2299, which is just decent.. |

Well, the toshiba might have better performance than the K40AB since the Toshiba has better CPU and similar GPU.
Heat for K40AB is still manageable, you can ask further on K40AB/K50AB user thread. As for Toshiba's availability, not sure... |
