So with i5 spec, first consideration: ASUS A42Jr (ATI 5470 1GB), second consideration: Acer 4745G(ATI 5470 512MB) in condition where pirce is 100 different?

How about Fujitsu LH530 i5 spec? I cannot find it's price sad.gif

LH530-i3 -BLACK RM2199
LH530-i3 -RED RM2399

i also dont know the price of LH530 i5 520M spec.. but maybe it reached RM 3000

anyway.. asus a42jr[i5 430M] now is RM 2799 , while Acer 4745G[i5 430M] is RM 2599

mind that.. asus a42jr is kinda limited..

like Bluebean says, my budget is around rm3899. Is it true cheaper 'Windows' notebooks can outperform Macbook Pro 13" in terms of speed, battery life and reliability ?

tq.

Hi dear sifus nod.gif nod.gif

I'm currently looking for a cheap 13 inch notebook for normal usage (word processing and web browsing). No gaming at all, so integrated GC works fine for me nod.gif But I'm not really sure which notebook to consider rclxub.gif
Currently looking at DELL 13z (with SU4100) but it seems the Inspiron 13R (cheapest 1) is quite tempting too and there's the Vostro V13 rclxub.gif laugh.gif
I wonder how does the i3-330 fare in terms of battery life?
My 1st priorities are battery life and mobility~
Brands: Anything will do
Budget is around RM2500

Oh ya, are there any new models coming out worth waiting for? ^^
Hope you guys can help me out notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
Suggestions are most welcomed (I've already read the thread on 13' & 15' notebooks by Mr. miahahaha)
THANK YOU!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Hey!

Looking for a laptop, with budget RM3.5k. Preferably Asus, Toshiba, HP or Dell.

Screen size can be anywhere from 13" to 15". Weight not too heavy, but do not want those ultraportable laptops. No specific use for laptop, just for games, work, studies. Lol. Also, I'm going overseas XD

Thanks! =D

well.. i suggest you to go for Asus since you are going oversea[asus has 2 yrs international warranty].. but heck.,. there are no model that are better than Y460

i suggest you to go for Asus A42JR i5 version[if still available] .. otherwise the other option is just Asus A42JK i5 version

well...for another brand...
you can go for Dell Inspiron 14R
Lenovo Y460
Toshiba M500-S433

the best is lenovo y460

Lol, even though I female I don't really mind THAT much about design XD.

I was drooling over the Asus N82, but I just read up on some of the problems that other users were facing in the other threads. D:

Anyway, thanks for all the help! =)

I'm interested at 5741G and acer 4745G

Aside from Acer models, is there any more good alternatives for other brands with the same price requirement.

I might get a notebook from a forumer if the local shops around my area offer ridiculous price. Anyone heard about Megamate before? They sell 4745g for RM2799.

typo edit
