but after negotiate.. you can get it for RM 2.6k ...[fit your budget]...

and .. it come with 2 yrs local warranty + 1 year international// warranty .. so.. it is 3 yrs warranty..

naah.. there are..such as BenQ S42[it is EOL product,depend on the stock.. its limited now]

acer 4740G for RM 2.45k and acer 4745G for RM2.6k

Acer 4740G is only RM2299 now btw,not RM2499

I think Compaq,Acer these 2 brand might suitable your choice.
You can go have a look around your place for more information or search through web. Other brands might expensive with good spec~.~
But i can say that this world is 一分钱一分货.

It couldn't be more true though that saying only applies up till a certain point. Cos I don't find Apple very superior to ASUS or Sony for the extra amount of money put into buying it

Acer 4740G RM2.2k free extend up to 3 years waranty. Quite good deal within ur budget.

I planned to buy the new Macbook Pro 13". But after reading forums in Apple Byte, I found out that Macbooks also got problems like:

1. if we install many softwares, it becomes slow
2. macbooks also got factory defects even in less than a month after purchase

'Windows' notebooks also have this kind of problems. But they are a lot cheaper. Here is what I am looking for in buying a notebook:

1. fast speed
2. long battery life
3. reliable

How about ASUS A42Jr & LENOVO G460?

Asus A42Jr gc is 1GB while acer is 512mb. Price just 100 difference

Asus A42jr with i5 spec is consider okay...

lol.. the Video memory 512mb is more than enough.. ATI HD5470


asus a42jr is kinda limited now..
better go for acer 4745g...

So with i5 spec, first consideration: ASUS A42Jr (ATI 5470 1GB), second consideration: Acer 4745G(ATI 5470 512MB) in condition where pirce is 100 different?

i also dont know the price of LH530 i5 520M spec.. but maybe it reached RM 3000

anyway.. asus a42jr[i5 430M] now is RM 2799 , while Acer 4745G[i5 430M] is RM 2599
