hi anybody know i can still get Asus UL30vt in Malaysia? Some shop in JB told me this model is obseleted without replacement model
Well, there's recently an update pricelist on a store nearby my location and comes up with Ul30Vt, though I've only seen UL80Vt on display there. You might want to give them a call.

i5 is more than enough mostly. With that budget, best performance notebook you can get is the Dell Studio XPS 16.

CODE
1. Brand: Image-Branded, and no issue for HOT
2. Budget: <3K
3. Specs: Gbps networking, Graphics Card, (COM Port *optional, but preferred*)
4. Size: 14"/15"
Hi, Im looking for recommendation for Hardwork/abuse-proof Laptop.
Laptop with Gbps and COM Port its preferred for networking guys like me.
and can be "Abuse" also preferred, since im usually mobile.
Image Branded its also required (and NOT Okay if acer)
Since... if anyone see "Acer", they will look down to our company images
(i beleive you can understand what i mean)
Anyway...
Im also awaiting Quotation on my PM, Please do send if you have offer.
Further advice, recommendation, aware will be really appreciated
Thanks
!
Abuse-proof, I could only think of Lenovo ThinkPad, HP EliteBook and such...
but those are more than 3K...
You might want to consider HP Probook series.
And serial port is kinda hard to find nowadays in notebook, mostly on docking stations...iinm

hello guys, i know this is laptop recommendation, but i dont want to make a new thread regarding my question.
if i buy a new laptop with 2gb ddr3 ram, should 1 or shouldnt i upgrade it to 4 gb?
thx in advance ^^
Well, 2gb should be enough for daily works, though 4gb seems to be the norm for nowadays.
It really depends on your usage.
