QUOTE(devil94 @ Feb 8 2010, 08:43 PM) what the diff between the difference is only screen size, number pad and weight.k40ab and k50ab ? im not a heave gamer thout~juz sometime boring Dota wif fren oni~ QUOTE(Dimiberbs @ Feb 8 2010, 08:44 PM) o_o wow good shout and I find it hard to believe a 18 + inch laptop comes at the price of 4.2 k only @@. its GPU is good enough for entry high-end, better than studio xps 16' hd4670performance wise is it good ? or 4.2 k is merely its basic starting price and I'll have to add on to make sure it's really fit for medium -> high end gaming ? to me bigger screen is luxury for me la lol, I'll settle with 15" as long as the specs are okay =). though sacrifice on cpu, i5 430M, should have been 520M or 540M, though the next step up of the model would be using i7 quad core, which mean extra rm 1k+ |

what how?
performance? in term raw performance of course lose compared to intel one, but in this budget, intel always paired with intel gpu..... Its fine for everyday usage, gaming also not that bad, so far no complain from my friend using k50ab.. |

Well, its kinda hard to find something comparable with lenovo x300 for budget rm 3.5k...
You may consider HP dm3-1031TX with SP9300 + nvidia G105M (RM 3499), and up the warranty to onsite, The downside is, it doesn't have dvd drive internal... Though Pro OS and MS Off you might need to buy separate... This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Feb 9 2010, 11:04 AM |

You can consider above mention notebook and Dell Vostro series, since Dell after sales is quite good
Consider Dell™ Vostro 1220@RM2899, 12.1'', Win 7 Pro, 1 year warranty Dell Latitude™ E5400@RM3200, 14.1'', Win 7 Pro, 3 years warranty This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Feb 9 2010, 11:15 AM |
