Bro, im the one who bought zaptor evolve with you yesterday. cod at P1 HQ, the sound system really sounds tighter , but unfortunate, i met an accident last night, the car skid due to wet roads. but no major damages only rim badly scratched.

this ignition coil set is the new 1 that can last longer?

woah, you accident ar bro... careful man. Hope the car is fine... do check the arm / chambers as well yea. Or else you would get handling problems and uneven wear on the tyres.

Yeap this is the new type of ignition coil set. Made of rubber that would last longer than our plastic ones. Those keep cracking after a while .... I'm sure if you check at SAVOC you can see a lot of those cases. Even I also kena twice d.

Alright thanks bro.

About the chamber, if its the back then we can't adjust it as our back wheel is dead chamber.

What you could do is check the condition of the rim, see if it is deformed. As its at the back wheel.. you won't feel it from the steering vibration thus this makes it harder to detect any rim problems.

you could go to any tyre shop, and ask them to run the rim on the balancing machine and see if the rim is a perfect circle.

Hmm if its dented, you could send to Sunway Tek Ming, they can repair for you on the spot. Probably cost RM30~RM40. Not sure of the price currently.

I don't know if there are other shops which can fix the rims for a cheaper price... after changing frm 15" to 13"... haven't had any dent rim problems.

This is JEC, made in Taiwan. Not original Bougicord Renault. But the design of the coil and connector rods are exactly the same. Except that the cables are thicker thus lowering resistance, delivering more current to the spark plugs.

Hi there,I know how to install it but I don't have the necessary tools to do it.

Going to a workshop, the most they will charge is RM30 for installation fee... if you know the mechanic then probably it will cost only RM20.

Proton will quote a higher than normal price although you could get the job done for more than half the price outside. Yes when the car was new last time, RM800 to repair it might seem to be normal, but its been almost 6 years already... more aftermarket parts are available now.

I've sold about 50units as of today, started selling them last year December. So far no complaints..

bro ts... my savvy had a long history of jerking since i bought it on 2006...went to proton coe but bullshit ppl there ketuk me for wrong item (speed sensor n shunt cable). then when i complaint further then onli they change ignition coil...

so the problem is, until now i have a problem of jerking...not only when changing from gear 1 to gear 2, now when driving at gear 5 (80 kmh n up) my car will jerk like no power...plus speedometer going crazy (zero then up n down n up again)...is this because of the ignition coil?

if yes i would like to buy ignition coil from u la

There are a few reasons with our Savvy when it comes to jerking.

If its hard to start & jerking at 2nd gear when accelerating below 2500rpm, then yes the TDC sensor will have to be serviced/cleaned.

If you start the car, and the exhaust note is giving out a motorboat like sound ( "brup brup brup") , then the plugs are misfiring due to ignition coil.

If the car starts to jerk when you're driving, AFTER the speedometer drops to 0kmh although you're probably doing 80kmh, then the gear speed sensor is faulty. This needs replacement as you can't service it.

All is OEM parts, meaning they are made according to the car's specifications.

Quality of SEV is not too bad, but of course if you want the best, Valeo's the way.

Hi bro,

I'll have to physically inspect the car. But could you tell me what have you done before?

What're the parts that you have already replaced?

Reason for sale:[color=red]Because I'm a Savvy owner as well, and I know that this part is a major concern for all Savvy owners. Unlike other sellers, I'll test the coil and cables on my OWN car first before actually COD or posting via Pos Laju. If there are any problems relating to the car jerking / hard to start, do pm me. I'll try my best to assist you in that problem. Like I said, I have my fair share of problems on my Savvy as well. smile.gif
