They charge quite reasonable price.
Not really expensive and not as cheap as those quick cut saloon The owner just relocated from Korea, and has difficulty in his business. He told me that the Korean "way" of doing business is not working for him, therefore he keeps doing promotion in order to get wellknown in Malaysia. does they do permanent digital perm? wonder how much? the style they make is look korea? i love korea and japanese hair =)
Added on May 28, 2010, 4:29 ami saw the volume perm promotion at their website, it's stated as newspaper promo. ori is rm400 now is rm200 only.. it is true? but it stated vary based on length, and my hair is very long. jst afraid there is residue charge Added on May 28, 2010, 5:31 amanyway, i got bad review here from malaysiabebe forum "i had a very bad experience at this Korean "kosvogue" saloon this afternoon. I went there after i saw the recommendation here and so coicidence my cousin just went there for volume perm last week. My cousin saw their ad in the Stars so she decided to go their promotion on volume perm. Her verdict was the perm was ok but she doesn't like the cut as she thinks Michelle, the lady owner was very "ching chai" in the cut plus they were quite pushy in their service, they kept recommending hair coating plus volume perm service. Overall, she thot the result was good n plus the promotion is a good buy. My last hair perm in Top Passion was a disaster. The stylist May permed my hair twice but it was not curly at all. my colleague didn't even notice that i permed my hair. I told her i have stubborn yet she refuse to listen to my advice. @##$%% Never again to Top Passion! i made a appointment and siad i would like to have a hair cut. I went to this saloon today. It was quite busy (maybe the ad in the stars works). I told them i had an appoinment and she just nod her heads with a smile. I sat on the sofa and later James came out from the back room. Waited for 5 minutes, James greeted me and offered me a seat at their "discussion" corner. He asked me in his very broken english.. "U want volume perm?" I told him not really.. as i just had the perm in Nov and my hair is badly damaged .. maybe i need a organic perm..so i asked him how much would it cost? he said for my shoulder length is RM500. it was beyond my budget furthermore dun feel like perming. So i said well.. i will just go for a hair cut. He looked at me and said u have to wait long time then he walked to his counter. I thot he went there to get something.. after 2 minutes he stood up to talk to another girl who was making an enquiry. Then i waited for another 2 minutes.. he was still sitting behind the counter. I was so pissed and stood up and walked out. @##$%$%^ hello... a hair cut there is RM70 ringgit .. not cheap ok... why do i have to pay this kinda money n face the #$%$^%^ service. i called my cousin .. she said she is not surprise of that behaviour .. cos when she decided not to do hair coating.. they wasn't that pleased either... I made the right choice to walk out... then i tried my luck at Shunji Matsuda New Generation which is next block without an appoinment.. Sunny did a great job with my hair... n the price is only RM68.. " This post has been edited by chongelicia: May 28 2010, 05:31 AM |

Hi,
wow... i really did not know that. Sorry to hear that. I think it depends on your luck. But i agree, they speak broken English. I am recommeding them because of the result i had with them when they are still located at Mont Kiara. Anyway, if you have good Saloon, please recommend it to me too |

These ppl cannot cari makan in Seoul. wat so good about Shunji> shop also tapau last May. moreover, u can also be doubted as other hair salon guy or u have history of bad experience with them. hell know seriously u need to broaden your perspective abit. there are many indian barbers make it as professional barbers . then there are many malaysians like jimmy choo also make it overseas. than what about Fitness First or other gyms that cari makan in malaysia? there were many americans came here to work as consultants here too... if this does not wake u, nothing else, beng! |

I just read Fei Kei's comments. I totally agree with him. I should have read his comments earlier. Unfortunately, I had based on this babyj1483 recomendation to go to this Hair Story in Penang. Really regret it. I left the shop really dissapointed. I would recommend not to go to this hair dresser to cut. Park Jung Ho as mentioned here. Prepare to regret your decision of choice. i just did my rebonding & cut here..... Ohh, I went there a few days after posting my question.I was actually very disappointed with the Min guy, paid RM 108, but ended up getting scolded due to a miscommunication. I should have just walked out, instead I stayed back and let the guy complain as he simply chop my hair away Never going back to that place. |
