If you had a chance to visit Penag you also can try something new...u can visit tis Korean Hairsalon at Tanjung Tokong...The hairstylist cant really speak English but he is able understand some simple English...all the products used are from Korea..and previously he did have a hair salon at Ampang, KL and just moved to Penang recently...pricing terms, it's quite reasonable...
i just did my rebonding & cut here..... smile.gif
Below are the complete details :

I just read Fei Kei's comments. I totally agree with him. I should have read his comments earlier. Unfortunately, I had based on this babyj1483 recomendation to go to this Hair Story in Penang. Really regret it. I left the shop really dissapointed. I would recommend not to go to this hair dresser to cut. Park Jung Ho as mentioned here. Prepare to regret your decision of choice.

The local hairdressers in Penang is much better for a lesser price than this Hair Sorry....

Roughly how much do they charge for a guy ?
Just cutting in general, nothing else.

Better yet, any ideas if you can find any Korean Hair Salons within the Sri Hartamas area ?
Kota Damansara is a bit far for me.
And I seriously don't wanna fork up a few hundred bucks and get my hair cut in to some hideous mushroom like what happened in Tropicana's Monsoon.
Some senior hairstylist, paid RM 40 for a stupid mushroom hair <.<

Prob can try out Min Int Hair studio..Since your up for Korean style and its in Hartamas. It's a bit pricey, but paying a little more to make sure it comes out good is worth the extra $$$..lols. They're director and master stylist are from korea so should head there. The last time i was there the master stylist Su Kyoung did my hair and it was worth it. Should give it a try.

Ohh, I went there a few days after posting my question.
I was actually very disappointed with the Min guy, paid RM 108, but ended up getting scolded due to a miscommunication.
I should have just walked out, instead I stayed back and let the guy complain as he simply chop my hair away sleep.gif.
Never going back to that place.
