My analog stick for PSP2000 died on me some time ago so I sent to a shop to replace the analog hub. The 1s time he changed it had problems so he replaced with another one so I played monster hunter no prob ....or so I thought.
MHFU's analog sensitivity isn't that high so it feels like no prob when you play that game. Problem comes with MGS Peace Walker where the sensitivity of the analog is higher, where if you tried to go top right or top left, the character "sneaks" instead of running as if you pushed the analog only half way and not all the way. All other directions is ok. This problem is replicatable in the PSP's internet browser where the arrow moves slower when pushed all the way to top left and top right but alright in all other directions.
I was convinced it was the analog hub problem again and wanted to return to the shop but I realised the problem disappears if I did a hard reset on the PSP2000. After the restart, the analog is ok again but every now and then the analog becomes slow again while playing MGS PW so I'm not so sure if its a hardware problem or a settings calibration problem.
Wanna confirm here before I go back to the shop. I'll be grateful for any replies.
