refurbish set is a set whereby the psp is sent to the shop, the shopkeeper found it faulty, report it to sony~ sony claim it back, and repair it. a refurbish set usually comes with a box, saying its a refurbish shop.

oso got "refurbish" whereby the psp got sold to the shopkeeper by a previous owner, in which the psp maybe faulty by lcd broken, analog broken~ and the shopkeeper repairs the psp on his own.

safe or not? usually ask the shopkeeper the warranty for a refurbish set.

if use chickhen, dat means its a sure v3 unhackable mobo. only get it if u reaaallllllly2 have no choice.

on topic, u cannot put a psp2k mobo on psp3k lcd. y? lcd not the same physically iinm. plus, the flash files containing the lcd brightness main function as seen in psp3k cant be replaced inside psp2k.

u can use ur fren's memory stick to update.

just make sure he has a 5.03 official firmware update, and ur battery is above 75% full, to be safe, plug in ur adapter while charging. in the event of interruption during updating, u might get a brick psp.

after updating, u dont need to delete anything, since the update is running from ur frens' ms.

and yes, it is safe to change ms since an official 5.03 firmware runs from the flash after updated, not from ms.

ur MAC address is more important than ur nickname. u shud hide mac address instead of nickname.

enable chickhen r2, after enabling it, load 5.03gen-c

updating to 5.50gen-d3 is ONLY for hackable psp, not urs.

Current my psp is 5.00 m33 - 6.. I would like update to 5.50 Gen D3... I had few question on it.

1. Can I update it directly to 5.50 gen D3?
2. Just copy those file(psp and dunoe wat file) inside root?
3. Do I need magicgate memory card or pandora battery?
4. Is there very high chance my psp will brick?
5. If my psp brick, can I unbrick it?
6. If proceed, all my game file, theme and game will missing?

Please please dun flame me.. I already research around www. however I still required double confirm before I procced. Thank you

u have to make the GAME folder~ since it was deleted when u exit Rock Band; and that was the whole cause of y u cant see ur game.
