Guys,
I'm a bit confused on the Samsung lcds which supports movie playback.
* The 2009 Samsung LCD and Plasma 650 and above, and the LED 7000 and above models support Medi@2.0.*
To my knowledge, 2009 models are those that starts with a 'B' instead of 'A'
Series 6 - 46 inch (LA46B650T1R) = Yes? - 46 inch (LA40A650) = No?
Does that apply to all models that has got a 'B'?
Thanks for clarifying.

USB 2.0 Movie playback got a lot of type...so better make sure what type of movies files you want to play with it....example Avi, MKV AC3, MKV DTS....afaik..DTS is not supported..but then I might be wrong since I dun own one or know the latest products.

Yup DTS not support but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use converter to change it to AC3. And like aneip said it is a basic media player only but a very good one though.

Thanks for the input.
Heard that these 2009 models also have a better built-in upscaler chip which makes Astro SD channels looked better.
Anyone can confirm about this?

Anyone can confirm about this? Which models are you specifically refering to? Astro normal channel looks sux, even on 32' LCD!
