As far as I know there's no completely red DS Lite except the limited edition Mario Red DS Lite. Is your friend's unit look like this?

Because we have to go into the dispute sections and read the whole thread, which we rarely do. Unlike sales threads reports where they'll show up in a big red box on top of our forum page. Things take time.
