i mean...sometimes some sales thread n account just got deleted on the fly even without a dispute thread created against a person

i thought unit will have 1 year warranty ?
hmm i have bad experience too .. bought the ds then 1 month later.. found out the button got some issue so went backt o dMAll... and found out the shop... bankrupt +_+

Indirectly, they're suppose to be responsible on all these unreliable seller.

Yes, it suppose to have 1 year warranty.
But since they're selling refurbished/fake set.
They couldn't afford to offer more warranty than 3 months as the console might have problem any time

I once bought a fake NDS game as well. from Midvalley

that's why i'm so pissed off sometime.

they said they want to impose a clean garage sales of this stuff...but a shop like TG get a chance to still do business while others got banned just at a click of a mouse.

yes... that shop looks dodgy, run by 1 ah beng and 1 ah lian. I asked them a few questions, they don't even know what I'm talking about... and I skipped them.

Anyway, next time try to get from reputable+recommended traders listed here.

I did lotsa research b4 getting DS/Wii at LYN Forum. 'cos there are 2 many conmen out there.

Because we have to go into the dispute sections and read the whole thread, which we rarely do. Unlike sales threads reports where they'll show up in a big red box on top of our forum page. Things take time.

Anyway, I've flagged the case to be reviewed by the forum admins.

so, by right, have to click report too for mod to take notice?

Its so obvious that he is trying to deny his action (sold fake consoles)

i have been messing around with the ds scene for so long
yet to hear any fake DS console
what i had heard about is refurbish set

anyway, if the battery is not the problem? could it be the charger? thats the case for one of my friend
no matter how many times he changed the battery is always red light for him
so he concluded that was his charger..... and after changing his charger.. everything works

since you bought your DS 2-3 months ago... can you recall any nintendo stuff came with the box?
normally, an original DS should have some goodies from nintendo club (depends on the region)

not really the case..
infact one of the sellers has an account on LYN and i have been buying things from him
xbox360 and a couple of ps3 games

I still have the whole box content with me.
Only console and charger/adapter..

I've test it with my own charger. It doesn't work.

Nothing at all. the seller doesn't agree to compensate my lost

try n buy nds from him and see if u're still lucky or not

these things happens...some sellers sell good stuff for item A n B but for C he did otherwise. in fact some sellers still sell ehem stuff out there (while not in here)

my DS had same issue as yours
bought it from a forumer here..confirmed refurbished set but he didnt declare it
i took it to the shop for fix, after fix 1 month..same issue appeared

first fix said motherboard and lcd issue...
2nd fix say 2 chipset rosak d
both fix cost alot, just advice the people here, do careful not to get refurbished set
good for you the barcode still can see, my barcode totally wiped off

I think you can complain to the hal ehwal pengguna.
