lol old dish and cable can get HD channel as long the lnb infront of the dish been changed.... just the signal is degraded a little bit... so I'm satisfied Manchester United kick Assengal ass last night.... the PQ was superb huhuhu

well actually if you read the version 1 of this thread. You can find answer of your question.... They change dish for better signal so old dish still can be used but the LNB must change due to some HD channel is in vertical or horinzontal position of the lnb (new lnb can automatic switch position).... the old lnb only in horizontal position only and can't swith position like the new one.... the old cable can do no problem.... and I'm still picked no 2 for the answer. Hint... I worked in a satellite company....

wohoooo maybe neb is right all the way huhuhu maybe I'm right I never test it... cyberkoh how about you try it at your family house and tell us the result... btw I try using the smartcard on the old decoder and it never work.... If It's working using old dish and lnb then neb is right.... no harm trying it out i guess....
