after 2 weeks with beyond..

- points : hd materials not that much, the urge not to watch 411 due to 1 hour differences..

+ points : drizzle, heavy, trickle or any form of rain didnt interrupt the signal. not even a flinch. for this its, worth the upgrade. and of course hd is nice indeed.

good answer there on the rain issue. cant explain much myself, checked the signal strength in my decoder and its about 215 so probably as AstInst said, its the dish alignment.

on my part, i did ask for new cable wiring and the installer was kind enough to give quite an extension too without extra charges.

does anyone of b.yonders here have a problem with the decoder once in a while? For example, mine can't view hd channels at some time while sd channels worked fine eventho I can hear sounds.. Sometimes, some hd channels work ok while some are not eventho I can hear sounds..

nods, got the same problem today. sometimes theres no picture in the hd channel. only sound...

though its good that astro has a competitor, i do hope that tm to really study their costing and pricing. no point joining the fray to pull out 6 months afterwards...
