Hi all, Need some confirmation on the byond requirement, installer was onsite and tested the existing signal and the reading is about 55-56, then he told me the cable is not good. a new cable or booster is required. I wonder is there such requirement on the minimum signal.
thanks

The installer tested using his meter on the existing LNB, which i can also see from decoder menu option 2. I have no issue watching all the existing program. Then he told me the signal is too weak for byond and because byond is a high end product and need at the signal at 65 and above. haha he mentioned high0-end well, since all my cables are concealed, he offer me a solution with rm80 booster... i am just curious is there such requirement.
