Just got my byond installed yesterday.. and immediately i faced a problem..

BYOND -> HDMI AVR -> HDMI HDTV in living room.
BYOND -> Composite AV-RF -> COAX HDTV in bedroom.

With this setup, if i set the audio to Digital Only, i can get DD5.1 from my AVR but no sound on the TV upstairs.

If i set it to Digital and Analog, there's sound on both but i lost the DD5.1 on my AVR.

Any workaround on this?

And did u guys face the problem on the audio level? HD channels the sound is ok with -20db on my AVR, but when i watch SD channels, i need to increase until -10 - -5 on my AVR to get the same loudness..

Any idea about this?

Cheers!

Something to add about the byond box's capabilities.

So i ran out of HDMI inputs on my AVR (Yamaha RX-V663), i decided to use the Component Output to my AVR.. and after unplugging the cables and re-wired it.. ended up the byond box doesn't output HD resolution via Component! inside Installation Settings, TV Settings, i couldn't change from Standard Definition to High Definition! and so i had to unplug all the cables and re-wire it back to square one..

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
