Just now at KLCC got the B.Yond Showcase, looks intresting.. They show the foorball in HD on a big screen. Got comparison side by side HD and normal Astro.

QUOTE(Qash-M @ Mar 1 2010, 12:51 PM) Well, after few tweaks, it's so much better. BTW, what's the specification of astro HDMI? is there any HDMI cable that not golden plated? What tweak did you do? If its better than normal Astro on LCD, Ill take it for sure? oh, I am using Philips HDMI cable for my PS3, its nickel plated. for RM69.. http://www.consumer.philips.com/c/cables-c...432w_10/prd/au/ |

If u have a Toshiba TV, (maybe other TV have this as well), set Astro to PillarBox
Go to MENU, then go to FUNCTION, then turn "4:3 Stretch" ON The normal Wide, Super Live 2, Cinema 2, etc picture viewing mode wont work I think u dont need to turn off "4:3 Stretch" if u want to view HD channels, cause it just stretch 4:3 source This post has been edited by Boy96: Mar 12 2010, 05:23 PM |

QUOTE(eMKs @ Mar 18 2010, 10:57 PM) Already got 32" Toshiba 32CV500E, wondering If I should buy a 42" Full HD first or notQUOTE(minimize @ Mar 18 2010, 11:18 PM) Maybe u should consider to get 3D TV. 3D movie will be coming soon on bluray. 3D TV damn expensive ler.. Just saw the Samsung 3D LED TV at Best Denki KLCC, without wearing the spec, it looks like very great the quality.. but still, u need to wear spec to watch..But if u just want watch byond, 42" HDTV is good enough. No need Full HD. I am eyeing for the Toshiba Regza 42ZV600E coz got Resolution+ Feature which is good for Astro |
