Just now at KLCC got the B.Yond Showcase, looks intresting.. They show the foorball in HD on a big screen. Got comparison side by side HD and normal Astro.

Much different la of course, because they displayed the Standard Resolution on an LCD Screen, try the normal Astro on a normal CRT, quality will look the same as bYond

well, not really HD on normal, but on normal Astro with CRT, quality looks clear, just when hook normal Astro to LCD, the PQ become worst

Really want to change to Byond, my dad already say yes to change, but the thing that is worrying me is the PQ of the SD Channel. Dont care bout the amp bla bla bla coz I only have TV.. no Home Theatre

What tweak did you do? If its better than normal Astro on LCD, Ill take it for sure? oh, I am using Philips HDMI cable for my PS3, its nickel plated. for RM69.. http://www.consumer.philips.com/c/cables-c...432w_10/prd/au/

If u have a Toshiba TV, (maybe other TV have this as well), set Astro to PillarBox

Go to MENU, then go to FUNCTION, then turn "4:3 Stretch" ON

The normal Wide, Super Live 2, Cinema 2, etc picture viewing mode wont work

I think u dont need to turn off "4:3 Stretch" if u want to view HD channels, cause it just stretch 4:3 source

3D TV damn expensive ler.. Just saw the Samsung 3D LED TV at Best Denki KLCC, without wearing the spec, it looks like very great the quality.. but still, u need to wear spec to watch..

I am eyeing for the Toshiba Regza 42ZV600E coz got Resolution+ Feature which is good for Astro
