Colour of th disc doesn't really tell you if it is genuine or pirated copy.

If your disc colour appear to be like DVD-R colour, then your blu-ray disc should be produced by Uncle Ho..

if it's under the warm white downlight at night, it might appear a bit gold
but i look at it at day time outside my house. it should be light light grey silver color with a bit blue reflected.

i choose BD's are from Amazon to have a close look.

thks

Perhaps u have bought BD-R produced by Uncle Ho lor. I have bought BD-Rs b4, it appears to be DARK grey/blue. Single layer is sold RM10, double layer is about RM32. So it's impossible for Uncle Ho to sell u double layer's BD-R below RM20, unless they compressed 50G's movies into single layer and sell it as double layer, or perhaps they are getting bulk's offer of double layer BD-R (but still i dun think they would sell below RM20). jus my dua kupang smile.gif

I've heard that it's not pretty player friendly.
If it does not vary much on cost between original and ahems .. i don't seem to find them worth buying at all.

Price of Blank Single Layer BD already costs much more than the amount, so how can it be true BD-R. He must have bought DVD thinking it's BD.

The Uncle Ho Single Layer BD-R costs around RM30-RM40, so I guess he must have mistaken the Single Layer BD-R as Double layer BD-R and the fake DVD Blu-ray as Single Layer BD-R.

Is not worth to buy uncle's ho BD then since the price is like RM75 for double layer BD. Can get ori with that price from Amazon.

Hi Bro,

Thanks for yr opinion, i get it with original from SPEEDY and Amazon. I compare it and it look same, under the warm white downlight at night, it appear a bit gold and at day time outside my house will light light grey silver color with a bit blue.

Bases from Bro opinion and almost same. is mean i get a Original. As i know DVD-R Is totally Gold colour.

Thanks again.

Sharp's model BD-HP20 cant' play BD-R, that's why i'm damn sure if those discs i'm playing are genuine BD or BD-R, let alone D5 or D9.
