QUOTE(Hevrn @ Jan 28 2010, 06:45 AM)
I guess the reason Fergie went with 3 central midfielders was to accomodate Scholesy. Did very well sitting in front of the back four, spraying some beautiful passes to the wide areas. The fact that we had two very mobile and able ball winners slightly in front of him made him look well protected and was given lots of time to make things happen. Nani did very well tonight, more of this and we'll see him realise the potential he promised when he first signed. The little break has done him a world of good.

The best thing about Nani is that he finally accepts the team aspect of the game now. No more fannying when he's clattered and getting up and tracking back. I really enjoy watching that aspect of his game, the same aspect that Rafael has yet to pick up.

But Giggs - what a player. I was thinking that he was tiring out and expected him to be subbed off but it just goes to show how well he conserves his energy for the whole game. No sign of mental and physical fatigue at all! Even Evra was tiring out towards the end.

MOTM:
Fletcher
Giggs
Scholes
Rooney
Carrick

Hell, our midfield was brilliant! Nani on any other day would have been in for a shout for MOTM. Shows how good we were.

Martin Tyler = LEGEND!

It's 3-0 in HD and it's a wide margin in widescreen.

those who laughed at me for cheering Nani at Bukit Jalil. Up yours.

"Nani are you ok?
Are you ok, are you ok, Nani?
You've been hit by...
you've been struck by
a smooth criminal.

I have a mate standing who works for Manchester Evening News who text me saying that Dzeko has boarded a plane that is headed for the Manchester Airport. That same mate told me that Ferguson is also headed to the Manchester Airport later today.

Make of what you will.

I think we have the same mate because my friend, the journalist, is posing as a M16 clerk.

People say Valencia's introduction helped but for me, it was that and having Milan's full back out and replaced with a 38 year old.

Actually I'm okay with Carrick out for the second leg. Already we know Carrick will play the Carling Cup final. biggrin.gif I don't care what anyone says, I want us to win the Carling Cup!
