QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Feb 1 2010, 05:38 AM) very fun & intresting match that was. our flank always got problem one. Evra going too forward. Rafael not experienced enough. Or u can try Gary Neville who is not as pacy as his young. And i think Rooney said he want to break his 25.. not yet 30. Though i think he can reach 30! Fabregas was not having enough performance from his teammates. Clearly pissed off when all his through pass was wasted. could've gone either way i say. both teams really wanted it all. but at the end of the day, it was all about united. also wanted more & more. didnt stop nor look tired, just kept the game going. both teams had a lot of chances to score. just like one of those normal football matches, can never find the finishing goal. take nothing away from arsenal. i thought they played well in the 1st & 2nd half. like i said, could've gone either way. they to had plenty of chances to score especially their danger man, asharvin. for me he was arsenal best player. always a threat on that right side with blistering pace and some good movement of the ball. sad that he and arsenal couldnt find the finishing in front of goal. i must say, their counter attack was always a danger to us. as for united, credit goes to them as well. they really worked hard today. not just nani and rooney but the whole united team that was out there today. our back four had some problems as well especially when arsenal was always on the side flanks coming in to our six yard box and trying to find a goal. evra was not him in the 1st half. kept giving the ball away to arsenal. but i think he just needed some time to ajust to the game because there were runs from arsenal players that he needed to win the ball back. evra did quite well in the 2nd half though, so no complains there. overall, you played good today captain evra. nani's 1st goal, own goal actually. thought park scored there for a moment. well anyway, nani also played good today. always looking dangerous on that right side. gave some pretty good corsses as well. i just hope he can keep this up more often. is nice to see him change for a bit after three good games of run. rooney, was quite a bit for the 1st 5,10 or 15 minutes or so. i thought that it wasnt possible for him to score today because he was all up there alone. 4-5-1 formation right ? good pass from nani that led to our second goal and you just cant stop wayne rooney from scoring can you ? i really do hope he can get at leat 30 or more goals. remember the promise. park was quite for me in the 1st half. didnt really see much of him. united played more with nani on the right compared to park on the left. guess they wanted to use nani more. well, a third goal from park looks like we won the game and got 3 points in the bag. but i wasnt sure if that was gonna happened as arsenal kept going trough our defense here and there. fabregas for me was not up to him game today. the only danger man from arsenal was asharvin. god, one of my most favourite arsenal player to watch today, seriously. ok, so 3 points is what we needed and we got it. time to move on to our next game. but hold your horses, beating arsenal saw us win, but dont take them out from the tittle race, because their aint out, their still in. a 3 horse race is still on. what we need is to just keep up this good form by winning as many games as possible. of course, i hope those goals will be scored by rooney. dont get me wrong. its not about rooney, not a one man show but a united team looking to win our 19 league tittle. goals can come from anyone from anywhere at anytime. but just dont see ronney as a one man thing. because his not. arsenal gave it their best today but i think they deserved that one goal they scored. go on and keep it up, we might see you in champions league if its not over and you never know what might happen there. will be looking foward to united's next game. until then, keep playing football and show us more goals and wins, united. I dont think Arsenal is still in the race for the title. Frankly, with the upcoming fixtures ahead, not beating us in Emirates, what else can they wish for at stamford bridge on the next fixture. Plus liverpool has been on their "clean-sheet" streak already. but it all depends. Hopefully, they can cut chelsea's lead. Anyway, good performance once again by Nani. This time he wants goals which i think its good because he have not been too bad at it, and he is stil supplying from the flank. Valencia will surely want to improve to earn his place with Parkand Nani as his competitors for the flank.(i assume giggs cant play right flank and Valencia cant play left). Rooney, who is always the favourite in our team doing it again. Hope his goal-scoring streak dont stop. Then we can shut those "No Ronaldo, u all lose" mouth. |

Early in the first half when Nani square the ball twice after a blistering run on the right flank, it was so amazing to me.
Because Gael Clichy got pwned big time...hahahaha... Can Rooney clock under 10 sec in a 100m sprint? Repeat Rooney's goal last nite several times and u will get the answer. |

nani was excellent last night but i havent forget the years of frustration he's given me and most others in the past. he has shown glimpse of improvement in patches in the past but hasnt been able to sustain it. i was truthfully getting sick til up to a point i felt sorry for him for still being with us. show us consistency and proof he's ditched the unnecessary skills for at least another month, then i truly believe he's transformed. at least now i truly belief he's able to change
