How do you like if there is someone or an organization in M'sia that helps individuals like you & me, young or old to:
o Prepare us to retire gracefully o Provide us a job placement for us to continue working after our retirement age o Engage us in income generated projects o Organize meeting places for gathering & recreational activities o Organize classes for individuals to teach/share knowledge & skills & experiences to others - while earning some income o Etc...
If no such organization, may be is high time we start one, would YOU like to?

Tq for your interest.
Let us start by understanding where you coming from. May I know why you are interested in the mission of this forum?
Next establish if you are OK to contribute your time & effort to achieve this mission. It would be great if you have some good working ideas/suggestions how we can ensure this mission a successful one. Better still if you have a strong networking with social clubs/societies. Most importantly must be a good team player.
If you are OK with what I mentioned above, then PM me to exchange our personal info & see how to work together to kickoff this mission. In this mission, we actually need a handful of good team players who are willing to spend time and effort to help build a better society, which in turn will build a better future for all of us.
Cheers.
Added on February 8, 2010, 2:45 pmHello dkk, Sorry was not able to pm you earlier cos I was busy for awhile. Thank you for your response & the keen interest wanting to join in to kickoff an honourable mission to build an organization that will help all of us sooner or later.
It's a very good question you posed to me "how do we get started". This is my suggestion & I welcome yours if any: 1. Let’s brainstorm to define clearly our objectives, goals and targets/deadlines. 2. Meanwhile hopefully we can get a handful of other members/parties who are interested in our mission. I guess members of varied expertise & experiences (eg advertising, web creation, public relations, biz/social/community networking, writing, organization & methods, project management, human resource management, etc) will help a lot. 3. Draw up roles & responsibilities 4. Come out with a blueprint of overall plan, Perhaps we may need to plan in phases & then come out with macro & micro details. 5. Execute each step of the plan. At every checkpoint review outcome & status of each step. 6. Continue to complete each step until completion then celebrate upon successful implementation. Well ddk, what say you? I would like to hear your comments/feedback.
Cheers 1MYCTZ3

Hi I am currently looking to hire elderly people who are willing to work in a coffee shop to man my stall selling nonya kuihs. It is located in Kota Damansara and it operates from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. I am flexible with the shifts as I dont want it to be stressful for the person too. If you know of any nursing home whose uncle & aunties are looking for some extra pocket money & to be working again, kindly email me at michkyu@yahoo.com Thank you.
