Re : the recent discussion on internet orders and custom tax

Am about to place another order on Kitbag and am contemplating on how I should go about doing it. My priority purchase is this top which is 39.99 and including RM shipping, total purchase will be 46.95 - just under M$300. Am a bit tempted to sneak in a pair of socks at 7.99. Would that be pushing it, i.e., increase the chances of the package being scrutinised by the Custom ??

So far, I've been lucky with overseas order, even those that borderline the M$500 mark. But from what I read here, those chappies appear to be overzealous these days. Those guys must have got instructions from Chief to have replenish the country's kitty .....

Look up Kitbag. Out in March. Have already pre-ordered ours.

Mmmmm, pre-ordered via LFC store. Comes with free towel and gym bag. Looking forward to receiving them.

Woohooooo, my pre-ordered LFC StandChart kit arrived yesterday - comes with a fab freebie LFC towel and gym bag !!!!

Got ours from the Liverpool online store. Not our regular online shopping option due to the high postage. Only bought from them once before - but used a UK shipping address. Couldn't resist this time around cos we had our eyes on the freebies .

Another poster who asked about LFC store shipping - bloody expensive, IMO, at 15 quid. Wouldn't have paid that kind of money if not for the exclusive pre-order free gifts. Last time I had my order sent to a UK address (bulky items), it was only 5 quid.

Anyway, love the new kit !!

I did it through the official online store. Received everything last Thursday. No quibble.

Dumped the sale invoice that came with the package.

But tracked down the LFC Store order confirmation in my email box. Ordered on 6th April.

Where got SCB discount ???!!!!

Direct from the LFC online store ??? Nope, I didn't see any SCB discount nor free shipping when I ordered mine. Had to pay 15 quid for my shipping.

Ahhhh ! That explains it then !!!

Only those pre-orders which were made direct from LFC shop website were entitled to the towel and gym bag freebies. Not applicable, me think, even if you have pre-ordered from, say, the local chapter of the official Liverpool Supporters Club kind. Hope that clarifies matters.

Even on the receipt when ordered direct from LFC store (not via SCB staff, not Kitbag), receipt (like mine) made no mention of freebies.
