Ok i just need to vent on my recent order from Man Utd store. First thing is the embroidery that was poorly customized, i was hugely disappointed with it and to add salt to wound the Carling Cup patch on one of the sleeve is not done properly. And the third thing is the printing done is not Lextra player size rather than PU cheap material, if i knew they use PU all the while i wouldn't even bother to get a name print... I have sent an email requesting for full refund and the customer service replied:

I want to ask you guys a question regarding match worn jerseys. There's a guy I met who is selling a match worn jersey by one of my favorite players (Claudio Pizarro) when he played for Chelsea in the 2007/08 season, he also claims it was signed.

My query is if the jersey should have the adidas logo and Chelsea badge screen-printed instead of embroidered? Are they like the Nike match issue/worn jerseys?

well EPL in PU are also available loose in the UK, as they do customised names as well.  I am not really sure why the EPL chose to go for PU replica and non-PU player sized, it used to be even confusing last time, with PU/non-PU replica and non-PU player sized! But I am quite certain it's some sort of market demand as well, for PU replica (not sure of why the demand though).

the other interesting thing to note is that I did go for a stadium tour last time, and during visits to the dressing rooms, the guide did say that the megastore used PU as it's more lasting as compared to non-PU.  I didn't really want to correct him there and then, I'm sure he has his reasons to state that (maybe commercial, avoid misunderstanding, etc etc).  FYI the 'kits' in the dressing rooms are also the normal ones, and not the actual ones as worn by players during matches.
