im not to sure on this, but i think your power brick maybe fried or your whole console, if so i do not know how you can fix it, but im sure there is a way...as for the transformer. It can be found in any major electrical retailer, i got one for my Xbox 1 and my dad has a monster size one for his treadmill...

ouch for the xbox.... you should have bought a MY/SG set instead to save all the hassle...

its gonna take u sometime to look for a 120V power brick replacement as well as fixing the console. let hope its only the power brick died, or else its better for u to get a new unit.

the power brick "should" have fail safe system to prevent damage to the console when there's overload or wrong voltage.
So it's most likely it's just your power brick is fried.

just go buy a new 220/240V power brick from the game shop, since your 120V is already fried, no point get it fix and getting the transformer

A friend of mine had the same case ( US version ), brought it to Malaysia during summer, plug it in, kaboom. hah. power brick failure. Not the xbox. So before you send your system for repairs, i recommend u to test it with asian power brick first. He replace his power brick with the one used in Asia, and the system still works.

Hope to hear from u soon. Im planning to bring mine back home too after finishing my studies.

you know, the seller told me that xbox 360 is quite "ok" compared to late xbox version, the 1st version, because this xbox just cause a like a splash sound + will tendang the power supply on your whole house, but the 1st version of xbox will cause a boom and if you're not lucky, xbox itself will fried.

yea, your hypotesis is correct. juz replace a new power brick. just bought new one, total damage RM260. but it's a universal power brick, all type of region xbox can play,is it reasonable price?

yea, coz that time pretty cheap compared here. but after the lost of power brick and probably will send the xbox for modded, i think it jz pretty quite near to cost of new SG/MY set sad.gif

anyway, do u knw how much for service modded of xbox 360 elite US/CANADA version? roughly..

yes. you're totally right biggrin.gif
the power brick make the wonder rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
went to BP and just come back. have a short chat with the seller of one of the gameshop in summit, BP, he convince me that powerbrick will fail, to avoid damage on xbox. thats why microsoft made that.

so, i just bought a new replacement (original-told by seller, dunnow if true blink.gif ), cost me Rm260 lolz..damn. pretty high i guess or standard price?

note that the power brick can put all socket aka all type of xbox in market, which means i can play also UK xbox version. just the voltage on power brick is malaysia standard.

Just get it checked. whether it's the console or the power brick that is fried. The cost would be around 200-400 depending on what are needed to be replaced.

next time, read the instructions before turning it on.
thats what the labels and manuals are for. LOL thumbup.gif

The manual MIGHT not state the voltage rating as they never want you to ship the console out of it's region.

There're no BIG YELLOW LABEL on the brick. that's the problem.
