Hi all..

I seriously need your help here.

My friends and i had ordered some clothings directly from China manufacturer early December last year. The seller told me they had posted out my items on Dec. 18 using Marine shipping. Then they gave me a tracking number start with "C". I've traced it using http://www.track-trace.com/post and China post, it has already been sent out from GuangZhou on Dec. 29. I assumed that item has left China coz it was the last updated info I can get tru these site and also Pos Malaysia call service. I've also traced it using Pos Malaysia site and found that my parcel is under e-parcel. It stated that "PENGEPOSAN DI KAUNTER CHINA" on Dec. 25.

However, it's been more than ady since Dec. 18. Why is my parcel not here yet?? I tot it suppose to arrive ard 21 days to a month? I've emailed Pos Malaysia Service center on Jan. 18 and they told me they have clarify with the International Mail Processing Centre, KLIA that my item has not arrived within Malaysia yet.

I also knew that the tracking number will be changed to our local tracking number when it reaches Malaysia, but there wont be any record of the amendment. Meaning we buyer wont be updated with the new number. Tat's so ridiculous. How can they not keep a record so we can trace back n be informed the new number???

Anyone encounter this problem before?? How long it normally takes for marine shipped parcel from China to arrive actually?? Is there anyway I can get more info bout my parcel???? How can i know if it has arrive Malaysia??

I'm worried sick here coz avthing in the parcels cost more than RM1.4k. How am i gonna explain to my friends all these???

Please... anyone who have any experience before or know how to deal with please help me...

Thanks!

Normally the tracking number won't change to local if China also using EMS tracking number. I have track parcel from US before (to help a friend) and when use US tracking number, found out stuck at the airport.

You say using 'Marine shipping', does that mean using water shipping not air shipping. If that you mean, then I think need to check at Klang port.

Hope you dont mind if i ask you few details.

Why is it that you think the reference tracking would be changed when it delivers to Malaysia , cause once the packaging tracking code is issued that should be worldwide available for tracking. It doesnt matter where its shipped to..

i ) Did you call up the company to check your status?
ii) When did the last you tracked down your items?
iii) Did you try emailing their Customer service or they Sales Department to verify your item has been shipped?

You have keep track your items from time to time with the dealer. You should not lose your track while the item still at large..

i' not sure if the tracking number will be changed for China parcel... but other country yes... tat's according to pos malaysia... Coz i ever had parcel sent from US and Uk... i could track it when it reached here... but thank god i still received it.

I tracked my parcel almost avday... until now the last update still stuck in Dec. 29. I called pos malaysia and emailed them few times... but owas din the answer i want... and the last time i called them was on Friday.... n tat's when the customer service told me that my parcel exists but it's gonna take about 2-3 months to arrive for marine shipping.

And the stupid supplier told me that it might be slower coz they used the national post, China Post, instead of their own logistric service... i wonder why they don use their own... tat's very weird...

Anyway, am not gonna bother it at the moment til end of the month... sigh... i don put any hope for it to arrive by CNY. just hope that the parcel wont be lost... :S

Added on February 8, 2010, 6:41 pmParcel has arrived, however, it has been detained at the kastam.. :S
