I'm pretty new in this section Property Talk. I would like to purchase a double storey house for about 400K for the sole purpose of investment. Looking at the new properties by Sime Darby these days, the price is nearing a million ringgit. Just wondering if any of you would recommend any place or new sites for investment.

You're not putting enough effort there. Simply ask for "hot places" and hope the rest might list them down is equivalent to spoonfeeding.

There are many topics on each individual developments (new and old). It's worth spending your time to go through them. Even without participation, you will definitely gain alot of tips and what property to target and which to avoid.

Check out IOI Properties, Gamuda Land, Mah SIng and Sp Setia...not just SimeDarby......

I think can still can find in Puchong or USJ. Not new developments for sure.

With a 400k budget, unlikely can find anything new in KV.
Secondary market -maybe.
