I am a long time user of this brand and I love it!

And of course, i am still a student and the skin care range's price has marked up so much from Japan's, I find it hard to cope up especially the toner (or they known it as lotion) G lotion and VC lotion.

So, I am using a combination of different brands but I am still using HABA.

Anyone is using it too and what are the products that you are using from this brand?

What do you like the most?

I am now using G lotion

smooth skin essence (Pore minimizer)

blusher (marble cheek puff ltd ed)

a few of their lipsticks and gloss (love it)

Q10 squalene oil

Charcoal mask and SPA treatment mask (ltd ed too)

hand treatment and Bulgarian rose hand serum (ltd ed)

their eye cream is nice but too expensive >_<

white lady is superb but they sell it too expensive here too.

squa balancing gel is really soft and light. perfect for oily skin.

big time user of their squalene oil.. but have stopped using it after using Q10

Added on January 24, 2010, 6:30 pmbummer~ no one is using this brand? unbelievable. lol. it's such a good product!

ohh i love their micro force cleansing.. however, i still prefer their cleansing oil when comes to remove waterproof mascara.

are you having oily skin? any blemish? actually even though i am having oily skin too, i find squa dew isn't moisturizing enough for me. perhaps if it's used as facial mist every now and then to keep skin hydrated, that is ok. but if it's to be used as moisturizer throughout the day especially when i am in air-condition room is a no no. not moisturizing enough. hehe! i still prefer their squalane oil.

G lotion is a superb toner. i hope you will like it.

everyone's skin is different. it's according to your skin needs. after cleansing your face, you squeeze 4-5 drops onto your palm and spread it all over your face.. pat until g lotion being absorbed, then repeat the process until your skin became slow in absorbing the lotion. that means your skin is well hydrated. then, apply squa dew. if your skin is dry due to treatment, you should use squalane oil instead. i don't understand why would she recommended squa dew. perhaps you should try squalane oil and squa dew, just use it as facial mist. even though squalane is oil but it's not oily if you use it correctly. all you need is just one drop and due to water is more than oil, your face won't be oily at all.

as for my skin needs, i repeated the lotion process about 2-3 times is sufficient.

yes i do! most of my base make up is HABA's. i am using their base, liquid foundation, concealer, blusher and lip gloss. i bought their lip stick too. i love their lip gloss! most natural lip gloss that i have ever used. love their blusher especially sugar pink but so far they are out of stock for sugar pink. sugar pink gave me the most natural flush of all. it's not too pigmented.. it's just gave me that natural pink on my cheek. as for their concealer, i find it not so good as the coverage won't stay but their japan's beauty advisor told me that it's because i used too little. she also suggested me to use 2 different colors. i have finished using the concealer and now using canmake. hehe!

love their foundation. it has only sheer coverage btw. it gives off that natural finished. base make up will really brighten your entire face and even out skin tone before foundation. their foundation has a property to diffuse light; hence it gave an illusion of making your acne marks and pores not so visible. but anyway, if you are looking for something that has heavy coverage, HABA's foundation is not for you because their products are more for a natural finished.. so i would say it's sheer to medium light coverage.

as for eye shadows and all.. i don't really buy it because i don't think i would buy 1 eye shadow for RM38. haha! so, so far i have only tried their base, liquid foundation, blusher, lip stick, lip gloss and concealer.. oh! i forgot. their pressed powder too. their pressed powder is said to be water and sweat proof.

hmmm.. so how's it going on for you now? so far so good? i just came back from singapore and bought 2 things from HABA that malaysia haba doesn't have it. it's the eyes and mouth base and their limited edition's lipstick. not sure if haba malaysia will bring in that eyes and mouth base because this is a new product in japan too. as for the ltd ed lipstick, i don't think malaysia will bring that in because this is kinda an old product now.

So far so good, at least no new break out...but actually, I can feel the difference....especially since before I used HABA, i had breakouts and stopped using any cleanser

btw, under the advice of my make up artist, I stopped using Squa Dew - not because of the product, just that my skin not suited for moisturiser use...

i am still using the three other products, especially the squa powder wash (i like this the most) and g lotion smile.gif

hi! difficult to re-phrase what she said, but it is kinda true that my skin is slightly better without moisturizer...i would stop for one month and see how it goes

anyway, do you apply g-lotion with your hands/ fingers or do you put it on a cotton pad?

ehh? i don't agree with whatever reason that is saying our face do not need moisturizer. it just depends different moisturizer serves for different skin. haha!

but anyway, g lotion is meant to apply using your hands. just pour a 3-4 drops of g lotion on your palm and spread it all over your hands and pat it on your face

repeat this process until your face is well hydrated

oatkrunch, may I know what's your skin type? Do you have open pores and blackheads? Wondering if HABA's products can target this two issue. Are you still using HABA coz read your other thread about KIEHL's.

oh i am so sorry that i didn't check here cus since new msg of yours merged with your old message, it doesn't show that someone has posted new message. haha!

ohh i am using light emulsion (their base) and liquid foundation (o/w foundation). how do you find their powder foundation? i am using their pressed powder as well. i use this after the liquid foundation. hehe!

tell me how do you like their cosmetics yeah. ^^

hotgimmick: yeah! haha! i changed products all the time but after that, i will go back to HABA for a while before i decided to try some other product but as for now i am using KIEHL's. i am still using their powder wash though. yes! i do have open pores and blackheads. >_< HABA said that if you use their powder wash as mask especially around your blackhead area, it will help to reduce it. i personally have tried this for quite some time but didn't see any result. haha! i bought their ion-my-esthe and their deep cleansing is able to deep cleanse from within, from your pores; hence it helps to banish blackheads. i have used it for few months and since you can only use once a week for deep cleansing, i don't see dramatic results (blackheads on my nose). however, before using ion-my-esthe machine, when i applied foundation, i can see that my blackheads on my nose are protruding but once i am on this machine, now when i apply foundation, my nose looks smoother.. as if i don't have blackheads. haha!

as for pores, HABA's ion-my-esthe machine, if you are using their refining function, it can help in refining pores. this is to used with their ever famous white lady. i am still using their machine routine twice a week. once for deep cleanse and once for refining. i can see that every time i finished using it, my face become brighter. haha! i actually wanted to buy this machine for the longest time (since few years ago) but i was still studying on that time and it's not cheap! and now i am working, there was one time (last year) HABA was having some promotion event at KLCC and their Japan's representative was here to promote HABA's product at isetan KLCC. i became their model for her to demonstrate HABA products on my face including that ion-my-esthe. it was then i decided to buy the machine. haha!

and yes, if by using it religiously, i can see that my pores are refined but not to the point like my skin is at early teenage cus i need to accept the fact that my skin is no longer like early teens. haha! our skin texture will change as we grow, as changes in hormones and as our skin is lacking of hydration and collagen, pores will become more visible. they have a product call smooth essence or something.. it's green tube and it's for pores reducing.. though many users have said it helps that pores to become more refined, to me, i don't see any result. hahah! i find that machine with white lady is much more better in refining my pores.

yeah true. haha! i wanna get a few lipgloss of theirs (specific colors) and their pink blusher.. but it has been out of stock quite some time already.. tired of waiting; hence i went ahead and bought kose's esprique to try out. lol i bought their x'mas set that consists of an eye liner, eye shadow palette and lipstick. all for RM145. what a deal because esprique's eye shadow palette costs RM110 itself. i am waiting for their spring collection. that eye shadow's design is really cute. haha!

i went to singapore and i bought 2 HABA's limited ed cosmetics related stuffs... malaysia doesn't bring in. one is call "magic base for eyes and mouth zone" and a limited ed lipstick with slick lipstick casing. magic base is for those who have fine lines around their eyes and mouth, this works to plump that up so that foundation will go on smoother. lol.. well, not that i don't have fine lines around my eyes but it doesn't give me the problem that the foundation sets in the lines or whatever (cus it's not wrinkles) and so i don't know why am i buying that for. lol. that lipstick is something like coral-ish color with sheen gold undertone. i love that color on my hand when i did swatches but when i bought it and put it on my mouth, i look so dead and pale. lol. as my make up has been always light and simple (because lacking of skills), that lipstick doesn't work too well on my simple make up. it would work better for dramatic make up? not sure but i still like that lipstick color. haha!

i am going to singapore again for a short trip on tues and will drop by HABA again to see what can i get from there. perhaps i shall get that pink blusher that malaysia doesn't have it yet. haha! i mean waiting for their next shipping.

you mean right now? no, i am using hada labo's water based make up removal now. just came into malaysia, so tried it. lol

as for squa cleansing, yes, i have used it before. have used few bottles of it. haha!

i like it now better.. i mean their new version as when i first started, their old formulation has to do it with dry hands and face but now with their new formulation, you can do it either with wet or dry.. but i am still doing it the dry way. lol

however, i think i do prefer using their micro cleansing force. their new (but not so new) make up removal. it's water based. for those who dislike oil based, this is water based gel.

but then, i find this micro cleansing takes longer time to remove my water proof mascara than the cleansing oil. same goes to this water based hada labo i am using. i guess oil based does remove water proof mascara much faster and effectively than water based. wheneve ri am done using squa cleansing, my face felt tight after a while while micro cleansing doesn't give me that problem.

hope this help.

as for their shipping.. hehe.. before i go to singapore, i did ask their beauty consultant and they said the shipping is on the way. sometimes custom clearance needs a long time? anyway, i have bought majolica majorca new spring limited edition blusher. love their peach color. just bought one as that color flatter my skin color the most. lol

the only blusher i wanna buy from haba normal edition is their sugar pink as that pink is really light; however i find it kinda chalky.. but that was when i first used it many years ago when they just got into malaysia.

now would like to try it again. i bought foggy pink too (their new color) but it doesn't look good on my skin color. to orangy, so i gave it to my friend who has tanner skin as it looks better on her. hehe!

their new limited edition of cheek puff.. wish i could get it too but malaysia doesn't have it. sigh~! here is the pic of it. i remember previously haba had a limited edition marble cheek puff and i bought that. love it and am still having it now. it's peachy-pink color. they had another which is reddish pink marble puff but malaysia didn't bring in that one.

this is a pic of their new ltd ed cheek puff

user posted image

btw, they have new ltd ed body care stuffs such as heel lotion and neck and decollete cream. few years ago, they had neck and decollete cream and i bought it and tried.. like it. but now i am not sure if malaysia is going to bring it in. sigh.

shu uemura is with good quality, no doubt about it but HABA's main selling point is without harsh chemical; hence you can use their cosmetics without any worries.

and for the new packaging, yes it's true because japan has the new packaging ages ago! i love the new packaging. and they are going to bring in a few new stuffs too. for example, the lip gloss tube. malaysia doesn't have it while japan has it a while ago. i prefer the new packaging. very sleek and thinner. can't wait for that!

btw, just to let you know HABA is going to have promo in april at isetan klcc. they will be having their japan's beauty consultant, chieko hiromori here to demonstrate haba's products to consumers too. i'll be participating as well. haha!

also, they will be having some sets or some promo like buy up to certain amount, you will get a free set of something for free, that kind of promo.

not sure when are they going to start april promo. am i sure of what? you mean is there going to be april promo or are they going to have their japanese beauty consultant over?

i am sure of both as that's what the staffs told me. as for what kind of promo they are having, they aren't sure yet because right now, they are still running on their march promo.

basically, HABA has only 1 regular sunscreen, which is UV cut 25. they have another, which is UV cut 37 but if i am not mistaken, UV cut 37 is limited edition. they might still have it.. just go and ask for it.

UV cut 25 is regular item, selling at RM128 for 30g. there are no difference between the above mentioned 2. the only difference is just the SPF number. if you need longer protection, just go for 37.

they used to have a sunscreen stick but they have discontinued that years ago.

their sunscreen is water and oil resistant. it contains squalane and citrulline to prevent dryness while giving you the protection. i haven't used their sunblock before but i have tested it out on my hands using their tester. haha! it's smooth upon application. not sticky or oily at all.

ohh forgot to add, they have launched a daily sunscreen with SPF15 before but i guess that's limited edition as well?

anyway, their sunscreen is for all skin type.

basically, HABA has only 1 regular sunscreen, which is UV cut 25. they have another, which is UV cut 37 but if i am not mistaken, UV cut 37 is limited edition. they might still have it.. just go and ask for it.

UV cut 25 is regular item, selling at RM128 for 30g. there are no difference between the above mentioned 2. the only difference is just the SPF number. if you need longer protection, just go for 37.

they used to have a sunscreen stick but they have discontinued that years ago.

their sunscreen is water and oil resistant. it contains squalane and citrulline to prevent dryness while giving you the protection. i haven't used their sunblock before but i have tested it out on my hands using their tester. haha! it's smooth upon application. not sticky or oily at all.

ohh forgot to add, they have launched a daily sunscreen with SPF15 before but i guess that's limited edition as well?

anyway, their sunscreen is for all skin type.

i have tried many brands of sunblock out there. haha! mostly drug stores brand though.

i have tried kawaii tokyo, biore UV cut (white bottle), neutrogena (but not their new helio formula), and now i am still using KISS ME but it's finishing soon. wanna try biore aqua after this. i am using biore aqua sunblock (for body) and i love the water gel texture. not sticky at all!! can't wait to try the face soon.

my friend likes HABA's sunblock as she said it's a good make up base as well.

If you dont want to spend too much & still you have problem then try Neem Vegicaps. Neem Vegicaps are effective in killing the bacteria, which is a cause for Acne. Some studies suggest that Neem is not only treat acne but be soothing for the inflammation. Neem is also good for the skin in general.

yeah the staffs told me too and so i went to search for it and "like" the page but they hardly update it anyway. sigh.. i almost forgotten that i have actually a fan of their page. lol.

am now using Kanebo white impress lotion and moisturizer. once i am done, which will be very soon because it's a travel size, i will be using dr cilabo. i really like their acne serum per samples that i have used, their bb cream. and since they are having special disc for members, i will pick up a few products from this brand to try out.

as for haba, i am now using their neck and decollete cream. i loveeeeee it. it's their limited edition stuff. but malaysia haba doesn't have it.. or yet.. they aren't sure are they going to bring it in.. i got it from singapore haba.

Anyone interested to get a HABA G lotion which is cheaper than the market price?

It is purely 100% original from HABA Japan. I am going to let it off cause my friend just had bought the wrong product for me (I was asking for VC Lotion T^T).

Just PM me if u interested.
