i think it should be like any other exhibitions held in galeri petronas - free admission, maybe invitation is needed only on the 1st day (private view), subsequent days free?

that's cheap!! cheapest i found so far for new one is around RM330 sweat.gif

my friend bought a used one last week for RM250 sweat.gif
*
No wonder my friends have been asking me to bring back... so far i bought 3 altogether, without realizing whether its a good deal or not blink.gif
But personally i think inverse 100 is a better bag for carry around, unless u are alright with the bulk of inverse 200aw

looking for a beltpack/sling bag to bring medium setup as my Flipside 400 is damn huge.. Inverse 100 might be too small.. tested my friend's Inverse 200, i think it's just nice for my setup.. thumbup.gif

for small setup, have to wait for those messenger on my birthday la rolleyes.gif

i'm in taipei now, will be back on 12 Feb, i stay around old klang road. you are right. 100 although much more portable, but u have to squeeze when inserting ur gears in.

MechaHerc: so many items, don't think a waistbag is sufficient tongue.gif

zergling : Lenses cheaper there anot? XD
*
there's this photography street in taipei, there's 40 photography shops side-by-side... anything related to photography under the sun can be found here... can easily find at least 2 specialized leica stores here... that's why the competition drives the stuff to very low price.
canon and nikon lens are cheaper if u get grey set, but alpha nope coz there aren't any grey units, but can try ur luck on A-mount 3rd party lens grey unit (like tammy 17-50)

QUOTE(MechaHerc @ Feb 1 2010, 04:35 PM)
well, if on the job, usually i just hang the camera with me.. how i want to say eh  sweat.gif .. i need the bag with can muat all my item there.. then when on the job, i can easily pick up n put down the lenses.. err. hope u can understand my word lol..  sweat.gif
*
now i roughly know, i recall seeing many uncles here bringing 2 FF bodies out, but having only using a HUGE beltbag, let me go see see tongue.gif

i was told that the price in HK is better for camera and lenses..however, acc such as CF cards etc are better in taiwan....
that's what i was told la...canon/nikon gret set? haha...okok i need something then when i go there
*
For this i might have to agree with u, although its still subjective to say without really comparing. My Taiwanese colleague is my source smile.gif he did told me HK does offer better prices for camera and lenses smile.gif

QUOTE(lugiamcg @ Feb 1 2010, 05:51 PM)
It's Feb now. U guys have any idea on which is the exact day for the launch of a450? I've waited 2mths for its retail price here cry.gif
*
"Sony has launched its new entry-level A450 Alpha-series DSLR camera for sale in the Taiwan market at a recommended retail price of NT$19,980 (US$624)"

hmm, approx rm2.15k? So discount a bit for street price perhaps?

a550 rm 2560...not big diff..hmm
*
but my calculation of the estimated price is inclusive of the conversion from NYD -> MYR. If launch in malaysia straight maybe can be even lower, like about MYR2k, then in that case it will be MYR560 lesser than a550 which i think can consider given that both are nearly identical bar the LCD and live view.

there is a wheel dial just above ur index finger on the grip. Make sure the mode dial is set to "A" first before that.

no..it'd have..maybe it'd degrade ur image quality slightly more(compare to others)..and create more vignetting compare to others..

anyway..i'd suggest u to try out cokin one...coz the system could be share btwn cpl..nd..gnd..blablabla..and diff lens(change diff rings..)
*
agree with achew. But then, like what it does, CPL isn't something that stick to ur lens 24/7, it will only be used occasionally for some specialized shots, so if you are content with having CPL effect in the expense of some IQ drip for these shots, then its totally fine to go ahead with a cheaper CPL. You can save up for other stuffs

yea..thats y i waited for so long as i almost never do any landscape...but i get a lil bit of regret when i went other country for tour...and dont have any CPL with me...thats probably the only time i'd be going there...so once miss it = miss it...lol
*
Hahaha don't be tongue.gif even with CPL, the result isn't fully under control as the CPL effect will only show on certain degrees towards the sun. Otherwise it will be same or can say maybe even worse because cut down light coming into the lens and reduces IQ with an extra piece of glass in front.

and the angle might not always favor what we wanted ideally sad.gif

haha not to say it is bad yet, just that don't feel can compare the sharpness when snapping LCD screen... because LCD pixels only how to compare sharpness rolleyes.gif try on other stuffs laugh.gif don't depress 1st rolleyes.gif
