Hi fellas may i know what kind of printing software you guys used for printing? Is it true that using photo printing software that is included by the printer (using Epson Easy Photo Print) somehow they change the color? I think the color are a bit off.

The best way to get consistent colors is to have your screen calibrated. But even without doing so, the diff in color is quite minimal. Also you can check if you have done the following:

1. Select the correct paper profile before printing. Glossy, semi gloss, matt paper all have diff profile and the printer uses diff amount of ink based on the profile you selected. Paper quality also plays a part, stay away from cheap papers.
2. Software that comes with printer such as Epson Easy Print have Auto image enhance software built in. Make sure to uncheck them all so that the software does not mess with your pics.

Bryan, the Sigma u see in my pic is not mine actually. I happened to have it with me when I took my portrait shot.

I have borrowed and used both Tamron and Sigma under similar condition. Indoor event with low light.

And yes, I do find the Sigma focus faster than Tamron. But I actually prefer Tamron coz it's much sharper wide open, produce better contrast and is lighter.

Go into my flickr and look up my events pics. I used Sigma for the ms hypertune event and Tamron for the Hennessy artistry event.
