make sure ur pop-up flash is on..and the mode on ur F58 is set to wireless...

50mm f.1.4, 105mm 2.8 no problem as they are Full Frame lens

the rest still can be use but in APS-C mode

TrutH_SeeKeR: Just put the F56AM on your camera, turn on WL flash on your A700, remove the F56AM and pull up the pop-up flash. That's all you need to do.

Unfortunately, only your 50mm F1.4 and Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro are full-frame lenses. You'll have to change the rest to full-frame lenses.

How do you know if it's APS-C? If it has the following suffixes:

Sony DT
Sigma DC
Tamron DiII

For example, you'd have to change the Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC to a Tamron 17-35mm F2.8-4, the Sony 55-200mm F4-5.6 DT to a Sony 70-300mm F4.5-5.6G SSM (or budget Sony 75-300mm F4.5-5.6), and 18-200mm to a 28-300mm.

However, you don't need a 28-300mm and 75-300mm at the same time. If you're on a budget, you can get the following full-frame lenses:

Tamron/Konica Minolta 17-35mm F2.8-4 (RM12xx)
Minolta 24-85mm F3.5-4.5 (RM5xx)
Minolta 70-210mm F4 beercan (RM8xx)

I would recommend the HVL-F20AM for the A850 because there are times you need a small flash for parties. If you buy a radio trigger, you can't use that radio trigger as a pop-up flash, but you can use the F20AM as both a pop-up flash and a wireless trigger!

andymillenium: Galeri Petronas is on the LRT side, not the Sony Style side. Don't confuse it with Galeri Petrosains in the middle of KLCC.

Sell off your 10-20mm and your 18-200mm and buy

1. Tamron 17-35mm to cover the wide angle
2. Second hand SAL 75-300mm to cover tele range (it's a bit slow but should be ok on the A850)

You already have a 50mm and the 105mm which means you're pretty much covered all the way to 300mm

On the contrary, the A900/A850 are the cheapest FF cameras you can find out there! Although the price is nowhere near the entry or mid levels category but if you compare FF to FF, you will know Sony has the lowest priced ones!
