if u dont shoot group photo..i guess u can survive with 50 1.4 without flash..

my way of learning was i tried to shoot with the light available b4 i move on the learn about flash techniques....if possible..normally i'd try not to flash all the time..

yea...i figured... i see that u are using a a700...same!

does the a700 low light performance compensate for the ziess "darkness" enough.....

meaning if u shoot at iso400/800 , in low light, no flash, are the photos "professional"- all other things constant eg : skill, wb, aperture, yada yada
professional - able to be convincingly beautiful(debatably i know), not noisy and sharp

very comfortable.. but sometimes quite hard to access the buttons and dials.. just adjust it properly to you hand size allowing some movement.. should be familiar with it in few days..

i'm using it with VG and neck strap.. it comes with a metal thingy that allow u to attach the neck strap as well

haha..i have slight disagreement here....i think qualified to criticize or not..its not depend on the camera he/she using..its based on how much he/she knows..how good his/her photos are...based on albnok knowledge..i thikn he has all the rights to criticize a camera(regardless of brands) even if he only use a100....using good exp camera doesnt really make someone a big shot...

My Nikon friends always respect Sony colors... I also like using Vivid:)
