albert, by unique, what do u mean? that they have a choice either/or? or the 14-24 is a lower end version of the UWA trinity?

to me, changing body is needed only when you have reached the limits of your current one.
taking myself for example, i had to let go of my A100 for my current one coz of the higher ISO demands for my wedding photoshoots. so as long as you still have the limit to push for your current gear, keep pushing it |

sigither, the thing is, i tried my fren's 85mm on his D700, too wide la.. even he agrees. for FF, the better choice is the 105mm
