the real 4G definition for GSM is LTE, Long Term Evolution. Wimax is the competing standard.IMHO our existing Telcos wont support Wimax because they've committed to GSM.

So if you want to invest in 4G phones in malaysia, better wait for LTE devices.

this phone supports 3g, but not the 3g in malaysia. it is a cdma phone. so we have to hope htc will release another phone like this but with gsm specs.

ineser, that is just so obvious. fyi, the EVO will only run on CDMA networks, not GSM.

here in malaysia, we use GSM.

so whenever you see phones that state CDMA/EV-DO, then they wont work in malaysia.

We will see then...

Unless they call this something else since its "exclusive" to Sprint

hahaha what do you mean by we will see then?

of cos this phone wont be here in malaysia due to the fact that it is a cdma phone.

what we'll be getting maybe something that supports LTE. and it will definitely wont be known as HTC EVO 4G.

and LTE will be a long way in the future. just look at how slow our telco's implement 3g to their network.
