It's called phishing - one of the oldest tricks around to take advantage of the guilable and naive. Given how many people still fall for scratch-and-lose schemes there is a wide audience out there.

Many people are just too trusting. A good philosophy to adopt would be to treat every email as a potential to cause you harm, even if it was sent by God.

haha,

anytime if i receive an email from blizzard, will very careful and see if it's real,

and also, blizzard will not email you that often, unless u do changes to ur account or u out of credit


nowadays, got so many these fake emails, even in game mail sweat.gif

easy la most of the scam mail dont have your username of your account normaly blizzard mail will say

greetings (insert acc owner's name here) your account (insert account name here) has been bla bla bla bla bla

From my experience / knowledge, this emails are sent from Game Card / Gold Seller Company. Think of it, if you registero n their site and purchase the stuff, surely they know that you're playing WoW. If you did not purchase or use your email on/in any website, who the heck will know that you're a wow player and you're email are registered as battle.net account?

LOL, you should take a look at the names they come up with when they spam you in game. Character names like Wowadmin, WOwarcraftmod.. etc. All those funny names to act like mod
