ok, so i just did my visa few days ago. damn easy. compared the e-visa vs doing it with everfine services in masjid jamek. in the end its cheaper doing it via the agent (RM142 vs USD 50 via e-visa).

just bring the necessary (passport, 2 passport size photos, photostat copy of passport... ) went there in the morning, no 1 at all. filled up the form, terus went to the counter, pass up everything (before that the pak guard will help to check n etc to ensure all is in order), pay the necessary fee (RM 110 + RM 30 + gst), ur done.

collect in the same day around 4pm. kautim. i think its valid til march (90 days perhaps)

saw lots passport in the collection basket when the counter lady took my passport during the evening, looks like we fellow msians r beginning to flock to myanmar for holiday i suppose..

whats your experience in USD / kyat there? how did u ordered pristine uSD bill back in malaysia (if u did)

have you or anyone tried withdrawing any money from the atms there? here we use 6 oins. is it the same there?

They are not so picky about kyat notes being dirty or folded right?

Went to Myanmar for 3 weeks about two months ago, still having nostalgia

Day 1 - Took morning flight to Yangon. Stay overnight.

Day 2 - Took flight to Bagan. Stay overnight at Bagan.

Day 3 - whole day in Bagan. Stay overnight at Bagan.

Day 4 - Day bus from Bagan to Inle.(JJ express) Stay overnight at Inle

Day 5 - Day tour Inle. Overnight at Inle

Day 6 - Spend half day around Inle. Take overnight bus from Inle to Yangon (JJ express)

Day 7 - Reach Yangon early morning. stay overnight.

Day 8 - morning flight back to Malaysia.

Question:

Which airline Yangon to Bagan will u take? I saw Bagan air, Yangon airways but any idea how to make booking. Can i make booking straight at the airport? How much wud it cost?
Anyone took e-bike before? Can the person who cant cycle can ride on it?

Since i will arrive Yangon early morning, better to rest early before taking any flight to Bagan. I searched Yangon - Bagan mostly all early morning flights. Saw their table and seems they have winter and summer schedule?

Prices in Myanmar are increasing by the year, so I'm not surprised

JJ bus is a very popular bus company in myanmar, however you may need to book in advance because getting tickets on the spot is just not possible during peak. You can pm their fb and provide your name and passport number, and they'll reserve a seat for you

How to do that? lol. USD20 for zone fee is a rip off. Im going to reach Bagan from Yangon thru flights

Anyone ever been in Myanmar around early to mid March? Just wanted to know if the weather is starting to be really hot at that time. Airasia now have direct flight from Yangon which will be very convenient for me.

You sure want to fly domestic inside Yangon? It will cost you 300 USD 2 way ticket to Bagan.

For me it doest worth it.
