May i know what is Twinvest DCA+VCA?? Thanks.
*
DCA = Dollar Cost Averaging
VCA = Value Cost Averaging
TwinVest = a combination of both DCA & VCA

All three of the above are periodic & programmatic approach to investments, no fear, no greed

Of the 3 methods, only VCA has exit plans built-in.
DCA & TwinVest has no effective exit plans built-in, they are just entry plans. U need to couple it with your own exit plans

Google these 3 and you'll find one more - A.I.M (automatic investment machine). Hehhe - waaaaaaay too long for me to write here and waaaaay too lazy to type. Google girl, google! tongue.gif

If you mean regular investment via SI/DDI, then yes, it will continue.

Hehhe - dont "eat" too much AJI tongue.gif.

I'm currently now >54% in bonds, FD, etc. (Fixed income)
+ 31% +/- in REITs & Properties
VS
15% or less in Equities exREITs.

Thank goodness to Value Averaging reducing most of my entries earlier blush.gif

Whew! The whiplash / roller-coaster in Equities these days are "interesting" to say the least. GREAT time for ppl that have been Value Averaging earlier till now laugh.gif

Its good that somebody is monitoring your account.
Your dad apply his exit rules, cut loss, switch to bond.

By the time the form back to him, he might already change his mind  laugh.gif

According to google (which you like to quote), you are way too much under-weight in equities. You should be a lot higher - depending on which "google" page you believe, you should be as high as 60% in equities.

Not for any particular moment, just a general % based on general investment principles, taking years-to-retirement into account. I presume wong is not that old...

People committing suicide are gamblers - not investors.
