I can't say i'm that excited about May'n coming here but i'd say its a big step for putting Malaysia on the otaku map. I mean this might be the 1s time we are having a full fledged concert for a Anisong star..... and even a Japanese star?

Can't remember the last time a Japanese star had a full fledged concert here.

Added on January 18, 2010, 3:51 pmi would relate daicon's minorin, however yeah, not a full fledged concert. and minorin without the band is certainly not as epic as her DVD/BD shows her to be (the dvd that i got for her to sign was DAMN AWSM, better than daicon due to the band LOL)

Either Fukuyama or Megumi Nakajima for me. Prefer Mizuki Nana concert in Msia tho.

Personal Opinion : If you have not been to an anime concert before, you should join this concert, for life experience. Its really awesome and nearly brought me to tears. If you've already attended any previous May'n concert then...well...its just not as awesome anymore.

This is NOT a macross concert. This is NOT a seiyuu concert. And this is NOT an anime concert. It's an artist concert. Yes, she became well known after she sang as sheryl but as an artist she has her own charms, and this is HER concert, not Macross's. And honestly I doubt Nakajima Megumi wants to do concert outside of Japan after watching the Macross budokan concert

i know that lar, nakajima megumi still inexperience, yet she look sweet

If you solely want to hear macross songs, you gonna get 50-50 mixed feeling here.
i've been to 2, and this might be the 3rd. Her non animu songs are good too.

Megumi is building up her singing rep (other non macrossF songs). In the next year or two, she may be on tour as well.

Mizuki7 coming here? Im not seeing that happening. The fact that Minorin came here is an absolute miracle for me.

cant deny the fact that:

- 2008, everyone went apeshit and cheered/sing along

- 2009, quiet dei, but once macross f song came up, ape shit taimu

granted, it is an anime/'ACG' event (AFA duh!) so thats a given.

i honestly dun like her non frontier songs. The japanese hip hop thing isn't my thing but that's just me.

i mean, all the while im generally listening to animu music, all of a sudden jpop j hip hop and stuff... is just... cant digest so fast XD
