revealing "Private Number" or "No. With Held" is possible, but the trick will not work in Malaysia carriers. TQ

why it wont work in malaysia?

Its the same concept where people in the US are allowed to carry hand guns and in Malaysia, we cant smile.gif

As an end user, we cannot view the "withheld" numbers, however the telco switching servers have the record of all "withheld" numbers activity and will only allowed to pull out upon an emergency issue.

Revealing a "withheld" numbers are possible in Malaysia, however none of the telcos are permitting this activity to end-users nod.gif .. otherwise it wont act as "Private" anymore smile.gif

one simple trick to get the number of anyone is using a Private Number is to turn off your hp. this only works if that person is calling u for a number of  times.
if u have you turned on your free missed call notification via sms, you will get the person's number in that notification sms from your service provider. maxis do have this service. u can check with yours.

try n see, telco are nt stupid laugh.gif .. you will receive "You have 1 missed call" -> open up "No Number" .. bet me i can prove it to u.

the agreement between user and telco is only for call, bt fr normal sms/mms number is visible, not on call and missed calls nod.gif
