Morning/Quick lunch/Dinner

Just buy those cup noodles from nearby 7-11, Family Mart, Lawson or even Aeon Superarket (I found AEON giving the most competitive rate but they are not 24hrs)
This cup noodle cost 168yen but there are smaller cup oodle too selling ~ 100yen till 250yen

Proper Lunch/Dinner

Shinjuku -For Noodles & small choices of rice. Try Sanko Near Shinjuku Post Office & beside the Oval high rises district. This is like no frill concept. You can choose plain Udon & thereafter choose the tempura as topping. Or you can choose set.. You can even get the rice wth mince pork for only 200yen here!!

There is no such thing as halal sign in Japan. Just eat it if you feel it's halal. Declare darurat lor & just take seafood and just close one eye on the mixed kitchen. Unavoidable.

There are Malays in Tokyo too and I saw few even sharing the same food court serving mixed non-halal food - one of it Aqua Mall in Odaiba. Just avoid eatimg prok or non-halal chicken can liao. Goto the travel & Living - Japan thread and as unke Mat Spuknik.. He is taikor of world traveler and he is a wise muslim traveler and he will be able to give more tips on how he survive in those countries he visited smile.gif

When I travel to tough places, I always switch to easymode ... and never check the kitchen. I remember being in Hanoi in the early 90s, and my host took me to a restaurant. I opened the menu, I thot they kept a menagerie in the kitchen, but did my best to keep 'halal'. smile.gif
