MAS return flight to Narita was RM1308 during last week sales.
RM95 for travel insurance.
Find a hotel in Chiba for 3000 yen (~RM100) a night or capsule hotel in Tokyo. A hostel is cheap too.
Fly in Friday night and return the Sunday after, That is around 8 nights.

1308 + 95 + 800 = RM2203.

Extra 300 buys you a plamo or 2.

Just saiyan.
Of course you're too late. Wait February for the next sale.

Also, Christmas season is a no-no. A lot of tourist from China come in during those period. Things can get busy and hotel would be more expensive.
